I hate St. Patrick's Day

Well, we have 3 colleges in my city, and NO ONE ever gets that bad. The Irish pub on Main Street never even gets that bad around this time of year. Perhaps it's just the area you live in. :vulcan:

That being said, I never realized so many people hated the day, all the people around here love it... Then again, I'm not too far from Boston. :p

I guarantee if one of those kids fall and die, no one would blame him. They would blame the university for not keeping him safe and someone would probably sue the school.

And they would be correct to sue the school. It would be somewhat liable for ALLOWING them on the roof in the first place.

It's sad how many university students, supposedly the great minds of our future, will get completely blazed based on a premise as flimsy as the pretense of celebrating St. Paddy's day. Why even have the pretense? How many people actually care about the Irish tradition? It's just an excuse to drink, that's it, and that's sad.

You should see the spike in sexual assault reports on campus after this week every year. Just plain sad.

Wow you're a lot of fun...you mean you never went crazy in college??

Yeah, those sexual assaults. Kids today!

God forbid we expect personal accountability in adults.

Common sense isn't so common, and once again the litigious nature of American Society rears its ugly head.
