Tron Legacy teaser trailer now available

Looks good so far. They seem to have kept the spirit and update the look with going to far.

This movie is gonna ROCK. I might actually bother seeing this in 3D. :techman:

One thing I'm really looking forward to (which was not in any trailer):
The scene I heard about on the Game Grid which features like 8 'disc battles' taking place at the same time, with the various game arenas combining with each other in real time as the various games are played out.

The trailers for my two most anticipated movies of the year premiering on the same day!

And they both made me shit my pants!

I gotta admit...that was fucking awesome. Tron Legacy just leap frogged over Iron Man 2. December 17th can't get here fast enough!

:techman:

Okay, I was never hugely into the original movie, but that looked freaking awesome. :D I'm gonna try and see it in 3D if I can.

I liked the previous trailer a lot more, but this one wasn't bad at all! It gives away some of the actual plot, though, which is probably why I don't like it as much. I hate it when they do that. :(

Wow, that is the COOLEST trailer I've seen in a long damn time! I was worried they were going to turn this into a cheesy CGI action-fest, but it looks like they're really trying to capture the feel of that dark and moody test footage.

Freakin awesome.

I never saw the movie TRON, back in the day. Guess I'll queue it up on Netflix and then watch this sequel. It looks interesting.

I think I've watched it a dozen times since this morning. God, this is a really nice first trailer (I'm sure there will be others before December). It gives you just enough story so you know it's a sequel and not a remake/reimagining and whoever put the trailer together has an understanding of the iconic Tron images. Using the Recognizer first was brilliant. It's huge and no Tron fan would not recognize it. Mix in new imagery with classic imagery (Light Cycles, Disc battles) and it's a trailer of pure love. This is perhaps the first 3D movie I'm actually looking forward to seeing IN 3D. :)
