Kirk could be a little full of himself at times, but it wasn't a prevalent trait and not a full-time occupation like Pine's portrayal.

Shatner's Kirk was a seasoned officer with a track record to back up his decision making process. Pine's Kirk was an arrogant punk who hadn't done a damn thing but drive a Corvette off a cliff when he was ten.

It ain't braggin' if you can back it up. Shatner's Kirk could back it up.

I agree, let's be nice. We need stay on the topic of this thread and not other's. I like Chris Pine's Kirk too besides Shatner's, but I will talk about Chris Pine in his own thread. Let's keep this thread only about Shatner, not Chris Pine. And another thing let's all be nice here.

I ask because every-time I see him he looks all red/pink and puffy. He appears to me to be on the verge of a coronary. Frankly, I'm kind of concerned for the old guy; I mean, I want the The Shat to live forever.
