I've got nothing against the guy personally, nor those who enjoy his stuff, but if I never saw one of his psychedelic Johnny Depp posters on the bus stands again, I really wouldn't mind. He had this coming.

I was once a fan of Tim Burton. I grew up on his Batman films and I think Ed Wood is an underrated masterpiece. However, the guy does the exact same thing with every movie he does. He has found a way to commercialize "creepy". So that video is definitely spot-on. I love the bit with Elfman.

I miss the Tim Burton who brought his own original ideas to life. I don't want him to waste time adapting and remaking and reimaging older works.

Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Beetlejuice, Ed Wood and Mars Attacks! are all awesome. Granted, I'm not fond of anything he's done since the end of the 90s, and the video has some good points, but the comments that compare him to Michael Bay? Good lord, nobody deserves that.

They nailed him. Yeah, not CH's "best work" but, still, that's pretty much what Burton is. He's only got one card to play and he plays it all the time.

Much as I adore Burton & Elfman, I laughed my ass off watching that video. Freaking hilarious!

Of course, I suppose I'm one of those fans who is secure enough in her fanship that she has no problem enjoying and laughing at funny parodies and skits that make fun of what I fan.

PS: The Elfman music was absolutely the best part of that video. ROCK. ON.

The only Burton films I have seen were PotA, Mars Attacks, and Batman. Two of them were absolutely dreadful and one of them wasn't very good.
