So now Zod has his powers from Clarks blood. And then Zods going to go on and give the rest of the Kandorians his blood. So the whole Solar Tower thing was a ruse...

It wasn't a ruse, Clark altered that "future" when he destroyed the tower.

Clark still hasn't learned his lesson. Even if he tries to change the future it will probably make things worst.

Lana dying in season 5

Johnathan Kent dies

Good point. Although the future is on a different course than it was, there's still the potential for a really bad outcome on this.

Oh, give me a break that Zod can die. Every Kryptonian but Clark can fly. It's fucking ridiculous.

That being said, I really enjoyed the episode because the Clark/Zod stuff was good, the Checkmate reveal at the end was a nice touch, and the Chloe/Oliver start was good. Given what Clark did here, it further justifies Chloe and Oliver's actions.

Oh, come on, Smallville! Only Jack Bauer's blood can do that!

I thought for a moment they were actually going to let Zod die. Deus Ex Machina. Speaking of which, if Clark's blood can heal, it's he being a little greedy by not donating some of it?

There was a big ordeal about this during one of the past seasons. I forget the reason he and Bo came up with to not use Clark's blood to solve all the world's problems. Something about not doing that because it'd be morally wrong or something for him to play God.

Man, Bo was a pretty selfish douche.

Procutus,
I'm here lets party shall we,now for my famous take on tonight's episode.

The lab scenes were gruesome, and I'm not into body parts, dead bodies, but please can someone tell me why each nutcase doctor/scientist that has a dark, damp Kryptonite infested hole in the wall hideout is easy to find just by requesting back mail to find out the address.Zod impressed me with his deductive reasoning skills, and tried to save one of his kandorians, but got himself shot, while trying to rescue Lois.
I love at the end that CK/Kal-El save his life even-though we know Zod will try to establish the tower once he gained super powers, but since he has a blood debt now with CK/Kal-El I think he'll make his people super,by blood letting or some form of Kryptonian blood ritual similar to Native Americans. Also I love that Ollie moved the weapons stash so that Tess couldn't find it.
IMO we've only delayed the events of Pandora, and we'll see Zod feeling superior to humans, and we'll see the Kent Farm becoming a camp for the humans.
If Smallville continues for season 10 I for one would like to see a changed future were both Kandorians, and Earthlings co-habit the planet, but that won't happen until Kal-El becomes Superman even smallvillized with Red trench, blue shirt w/Family crest, red boots, and blue leather pants with yellow belt it wont be Dr.Fate's vision.

I'm sorry for being long-wnded people (whew),but that's my take on this.

Good night and see you all next week.

Signed

Buck Rogers

Now that Zod has powers, I predict another "epic" 30 second fight between him and Clark in what will be yet another disappointing season finale.
