Today marks my first day of being once again employed. A few days past a month after RadioShack railroaded me into leaving, I've accepted a full-time position at FedEx Office.
Unfortunately, it isn't the graphic design job I was hoping for since leaving school with my degree, but it's a paycheck, and a significant pay increase from my previous job. I also interviewed with some companies for design positions, so there is still the possibility of being hired on with one of those after all...but for now I am quite happy and relieved to be once again employed, as I was nearing a time when I would need to dip into savings just to pay bills...and that's no good at all.
BTW I do promise to try and keep any complaining about customers to a minimum since while it may be a print shop, it is still a retail-esque environment. I've at least branched outside of electronics retail, so that's a plus.
