(I played a Tuaren Hunter for 2.5 years and I HATED Gnome Rogues (With Night Elves a close second.

I got my T3 ship. I really can't understand the people who say it's ugly.
I'm about 3/4 of the way through LCDR10. So close to promotion! Alas, I must go to bed now. If I pushed through to CDR, I would feel obligated to get my new ship, outfit it and take it for a spin. Somehow I'll find the strength to put that off until tomorrow evening.

I am the same. I can goof off for days but as soon as I pass 5 I become a south park MMO parody "Where that bed pan!!"
My 5 day buddy key just expired, and I had made it up to Lt. 8. So close to a new ship !! If I get a retail key, will I continue at that level, or will I be starting over?
You should be able to continue.
Only LCDR2, a long ways to go before I can upgrade from the Nova.
just bought this game first one of this type i've bought, pretty good so far.I do have a question though is it possible to target and fire on a starfleet ship? while flying a starfleet ship?
Yes and no... You'll see when you enter Bajoran/Cardassian space....
What's that clear dome thing in the front used for? Seems like a horrible waste of space.
I like the Cryptic Points given for the survey. Hopefully I can buy a Nebula class ship from the store for 240 points at some point...

I grinded my way through the last few bars of LCDR10 last night by doing patrol and exploration missions. At one point, it looked to me like my bar was completely full, but, when I checked my status, I saw that I was... I kid you not... 1 measly point from leveling! And naturally, the next mission I did ended up being one of those lengthy, multi-part ones. I leveled 3 seconds into it, but wasn't free to go back to Sol for about 30 minutes. 
On the plus side, I now have a shiny new Heavy Cruiser.

8 more sublevels to make Commander.
I made captain last week and have been enjoying my new Galaxy-class ship since then.
