6th Doctor Regeneration action figure!

Seriously though, you wouldn't wear it...I mean not outside right? I once saw a guy here in Nottingham who had the whole Tennant get up, and frankly he looked a bit silly (nothing wrong with the look, he'd just gone too far in making it completely identical to 10's outfit.)
Sure would. I mean, I wouldn't wear the full Colin, just the coat (maybe with cat badge). That's the different between being coolly ironic and a nerdy tool. Really though, there must be some site out there that sells a replica of it. Sadly Google's not helping me here.

Well, I picked up my figure from the post office today and it looks great. This being my first DW figure, I'm impressed with the detailing, which wasn't quite that evident from the picture. It's a bit taller than 5" though, but other than that I'm impressed. Now I have to decide if I should take it out of the package... :D

Yeah I don't think that line is quite where you think it is, but then again in my university days I wore all sorts of weird stuff so it might be something the student can pull off.

Of course this is the guy today wearing what he affectionately thinks of as his Gene Hunt overcoat

Funnily enough I think the rest of Colin's outfit doesn't look that bad. He's sans coat for a lot of The Two Doctors and he does look a lot better for it.

:rommie:

So here's a thing: I just googled "sixth doctor coat replica" to resume my quest for one, and this thread is the third hit. Don't think I'll ever find one :(.

Yeah, I found both of those. I'm thinking of offering the blog guy some money to make me one. He probably won't though. Or it'll cost too much.

I wonder if we'll ever see any future 'regeneration' figures. We've had Davison/Baker, Eccleston/Tennant and the upcoming Tennant/Smith.... (Although I wonder if they'll be a variant without the suit, as it looks like Smith spends a good chunk of the first episode in the undershirt).

Thoughts on the other ones:

-Apparentally Hartnell's outfit regenerated with him, as I recall, so a Hartnell/Troughton regeneration figure wouldn't make much sense.

-Pertwee in Troughton's outfit is only seen very briefly, unfortunately-and not from the front, either.

-It should be easy to make a Pertwee/Tom.

-Baker/McCoy could work, although it might depend if they make McCoy's hat removable when the figure comes out in the Doctors set.

-Unfortunately Mcgann regenerated in a sheet, so that wouldn't work out (Mcgann would look very silly in McCoy's clothes anyway)

-And of course we never saw the Mcgann/Eccleston regeneration.

It wouldn't hurt to try. What's the worst that could happen? He says no. On the other hand, he could say yes and make you one for a reasonable price. And then you can dress up like the very best Doctor ever in the history of everything.

Looking at that guy`s cosutume made me envious. Very envious. Ask him. He can only say no. And if he says yes... I`ll be asking him too. ;)

Well, I asked. He said he probably won't be making one any time soon. It's a complex bit of coat. The other alternative is to beg Cloth Ears to make one on the quiet. Which, of course, they won't.

Think I might drown this sorrow in a Trial of a Time Lord marathon. Michael Grade robbed us of not only the best Doctor, but of the best coat :(
