the obligatory give the bad guy immunity scene, and the obligatory CTU shows up and nothing is there pretty much sending us back to Square one scene.

Yeah, this was a complete rehash of the previous season and probably other seasons.

Really though, if you were a terrorist that got caught, you had information and were willing to give it up for a price, what would you ask for?

"I want a season pass to Disneyland!"

I'm just jumping back in now because Heroes is over (yeah I have screwy priorities :rommie:) but it's the same old stuff on 24 so it's easy enough to get back up to speed. But what's the deal with Starbuck's sketchy past?

Breaking Jack would be a cinch. Just kidnap his granddaughter and hold a gun to her head.

I hope that's not a plot spoiler. :rommie: But why bother creating the granddaughter unless they're going to do that? Maybe save it for the movie?

Starbuck's sketchy past
then I found one site that had this as part of her back story??
Dana Walsh's backstory:form beaumont, tx. shes the daughter of the football coach and she used to be a stripper.
:confused::confused:

When did they reveal that it was a Car Robbery? I don't remember that part.

She was involved in a crime as a juvenile? Would that be enough to scuttle her CTU career if exposed? Seems pretty tight-ass even for them...aren't juvenile records supposed to be sealed? They can't officially know about them, even if told.

This is just one more example of someone on this show digging themselves a bigger and bigger hole when the hole they were in to begin with wasn't all that deep. :rommie: Whatever she did when she was underage is piddly compared with aiding and abetting criminals on the job, as an adult.

I wonder when someone is going to break Bauer by torture. He doesn't seem to have a limit.

Season two was pretty clear that the only way to break Jack would be to threaten his daughter. Now that his family has expanded, you can probably add his grandaughter, Teri, to that list.

You've got to be kidding me if that's her deep dark secret she's trying to keep from getting out.

It was on the 24 Wiki page. I'm very much hoping they are wrong, which is why I started wondering if I missed a scene. God knows it's probably happened quite a few times this season, with the low talking and cliche filled plotlines.

Didn't that Kevin guy say that somehow
a manslaughter charge and someone dying
was involved in her past?

Totally could be making that up, but I'm pretty sure I heard that.

^IIRC, it was something along so lines.

However, the whole thing could have been avoided right away if she'd just come clean and took whatever punishment came her way.

That whole entire plotline just seems so incredibly illogical. It feels like a bad Lifetime TV-movie.

I haven't watched the last three episodes, and after tomorrow it'll be four. Does it get any better anytime soon?

Has the 24 crew apologized for the Dana Walsh storyline yet?
