Lots of stories this year: Jimmie going for a record 5th in a row, Danica coming to Nationwide, Petty and Yates "merging", the spoiler coming back to Cup, and more!

As always, here's hoping Mark Martin wins today. Failing that, go AJ Allmendinger!

I could go for Mark Martin winning. He's my favorite. Anybody but Jimmie Johnson. I'm tired of him winning. I'd rather see that brat Kyle Busch win than have Jimmie do a five-peat. It's bad for the sport.

My God, are they ever going to start again? Holy moly, it's starting up again! How long was that repair job on the track? 2 hours? I just about gave up.

My god, that was embarrassing. A 1 hour, 41 minute red flag to fix a hole in the damn track. And the spotters are now reporting that the patch job is failing. They better not call this race early, again! Just have the drivers avoid the damn thing.

They can't call the Daytona 500 early, can they? You've got to be kidding. What a deflating experience. Okay, you didn't pit the lap before we red flagged, so you're winner. That's such a gyp.

Only reason they'd call this race is if there was no way whatsoever that they couldn't finish the race. It'll get done.

OH.MY.GOD. They are never going to finish this race. Again? Seriously? 2 cautions on the last 2 laps???? Care to try for a third, guys? You'll be running these last two laps until tomorrow!

She was doing ok but got caught in one of those wrecks not of her doing, it looked like she was trough the opening but got hit and turned into the wall. She's still supposed to race Saturday at Fontana/California Entry List
