Chris Pine appreciation thread

I almost wonder if he wouldn't be taking on too many iconic roles, though? Captain Kirk, Jack Ryan, now (possibly) Captain America. Although I have no doubt whatsoever that he'd be able to handle all of them, and I think he'd be an excellent choice for Steve Rogers/CA. Chris is such an All-American type of guy in his looks, and he has the acting chops to back it up.

Randi's going to have to take up residence in her local movie theater in the 2011-12 time frame should this be true (and I'm sure she'll be happy to do it).

MW, i am wondering the same thing..about too many iconic roles. I was sort of pleased that he didn't get the Green Lantern (or was it Green Hornet?) role...

Heh, Yeah. I'll be VERY happy to LIVE in a theater to get more of Chris. Which of course, i wouldn't have to do if the guy just picked up the damn phone!!!!

Aww, BB! Well at least you can have another excuse to pop in the movie ;)

I thought the look on Uhura's face, when she sees Spock standing there, was of, "What!? How did you get out. I thought I left you tied to the bed!"

I may just do that today. It's been a couple of weeks since i watched it!!

Relax, Cupcake. :D

Thanks for the Kirk and Cupcake picture, Jeri. Now I have to go watch the movie. Haven't seen it in weeks and need my fix. Here's a lovely picture that is currently my wallpaper. Guess why.

Randi, Yeah, I did those myself. Grab my email address off my facebook and send me a few pictures of you and I'll make you some. I've got a couple different things I can do with them.

Thank you Brian...i'll take you up on it when i dig up a pic! xxx

M,
Not only is it a smile, but it's an awfully stupid smile at that!

Gold tunic? Smile? What is wrong with you people?

Pam's not looking at either one of those on her wallpaper.

Starquest, thanks for the link to that article. I was a big fan of Robert Pine as Sgt. Getraer in CHiPs, and I got interested in Chris in the first place because he was Robert's son. Of course, now I just like Chris for himself!

So, I was at FYE yesterday, hanging around in the mall till my shift at work, and I was over in the movie section looking at a few of the movies, and I glance to my right and see Carriers sitting there... Chris Pine looking all sexy on the front... And I wanted to buy it, but I don't get paid till Friday. :(

An-ti-ci-pa-tion! An-ti-ci-pa-yay-tion!

I need some of those little musical notes to hang around the words.

So are you going to buy it Friday? I can't honestly say one way or the other; I have it, but I haven't watched it yet. I'm kinda saving it, I guess. There's a lot of time between here and 2012.

Its not the greatest movie ever, but its entertaining for what it is ... and of course there's that guy in it. What was his name again? Shoot. It was just on the tip of my tongue. He was just in that blockbuster... Star Something or other.

 By jove, I think you've got it. Thank you for the little musical notes; where are those? That little whistling guy reminds me of those ancient Mickey Mouse cartoons, like Steamboat Willie.
