TV & Media Avatar Contest - OMG!

godandjoan.jpg

God...and Joan.

I don't think of JoA as a SF/F show...bu if it doesn't work for this, I will try and find something else.

From what I saw of Joan of Arcadia (the first couple of episodes), I'm okay with it as an entry.

So, you're good.

What? Couldn't find a screencap of whole-diddily-ho Flanders clan?

;) :D

I thought they weren't meant to be from SF/F shows, this is TV & Media section.

And anyway, Joan of Arcadia is by far the most Fantasy of all the shows and movies featured in this thread so far. (Not counting the Simpsons Halloween episodes.)

I am sorry, but a show about a girl who talks to God is not SF and I wouldn't consider Fantasy either...if you have seen the show you would know that.

That looks familiar-ish..what's it from?

Well, I'm the one runnin' the contest, and, like I already posted, from what I saw of the show, it wasn't SciFi/Fantasy, so I'm okay with it as an entry.

I'm also okay with the Buddy Christ from Dogma.

The Jesus actor looked like he was goin' to cry when Bill Maher asked that. I was wonderin' if anyone would post an avatar from that documentary.

Well, I was going to do "Life of Brian," but since Graham Chapman is already represented, I thought I'd go with some a little more...unexpected.

Um, I am sorry, but 1) nobody said it was SF , 2) I have seen the entire show, that's why I know what it is, and 3) sorry, but a girl talking to God definitely is fantasy. :vulcan: Genre in which supernatural forces play a primary role in the plot = Fantasy; 4) It is without any doubt far more fantasy that MASH or The Vicar of Dibley or everything else in this thread. 5) Which makes no difference anyway, since this is the TV & Media section, not Science Fiction and Fantasy.
