Captain Picard and Lwaxana troi

O.K. why not Picard and Lwaxana? I think they would of made a good couple.

Lwaxana was a fine arse GMILF. Truly, she was a beautiful late middle aged woman. She's a nice lady and was still hot. Why not? It was Lwaxana's fault mostly being the crazy woman on the ship.

However, I think that is what the buttoned up Picard needed. A funny, crazy, insatiable woman to push his buttons. Maybe someone Picard could tell Number one with a wide smile, "I am going home for two weeks, you are command of the bridge, don't call unless Romulans are sodomizing Data, O.k?"

Personally, I think Picard was a fool to resist her advances. She is very beautiful. She is also vivacious, alive and fun, all the things that Picard is not most of the time. Lwaxana could also learn Picard's attributes. The buttoned up Picard and the crazy Betazed. Why not? I think it would be a great thing in Trek, to see an older relatioship.

Any thoughts?

I think it could have worked. But it would have required TPTB to be interested in showing a long-term committed relationship between main characters. That was something they simply were not willing to do, until DS9 came along.

Actually the word sodomy implies wrong doing, just from a histolegal standpoint. And for a human being it can be argued that the act of "sodomy", even between a male and female is unnatural and wrong... but Soong was obviously a dirty old bastard and it's highly likely that Data's bum was designed as a sexual organ. So if you're using what your creator gave you in the way your creator intended, how is that sodomy? It would be sodomy for Data not to have anal sex as often as possible.

Nah. He just found her annoying, and I completely understand him. Vivacious and fun is one thing, but people who babble on and on like that are usually just unbearable. Especially for someone with Picard's personality. Opposites don't always attract, that's a myth, especially not when they really have so little in common. The two of them getting together would be about as convincing as Tuvok falling in love with Neelix.

The two of them getting together would be about as convincing as Tuvok falling in love with Neelix.

Tuvix, the hybrid composite entity of Tuvok and Neelix, was walking around like a real person for an entire month before kathryn sent "him" to hell. Even when a lad has a girlfriend/wife, going an entire month without masturbating is virtually unbelievable and downright impossible, even taking every-sciencefictiony-thing else within this supposition into account.

So yes, it is likely that Tuvok and Neelix made love with/to each other many times.

However, sex doesn't equal love, these days sex doesn't even equal dinner and a movie.

I did like the comedy of Picard avoiding Lwaxana. As for a relationship, I don't think she had enough of a serious side for him.

I don't think she actually wanted Picard for any duration, if you consider how she opened up seriouslly and emotionally to Odo over the years.
