Sports Illustrated cover too provacative?

Flying Spaghetti Monster

See if this works
This is the same "awesome" skiier that's been falling alot, and every time she falls, there's a new article about it. My friends 14-year-old daughter can probably ski better than her, and is probably in better shape physically.

Just kidding about that last comment (though I can't beat her in armwrestling)

Anyway the cover featuring this pretty skier is raising controversey for some reaosn. Do you agre that it is controversial?

You've got to be really repressed to find anything sexually provocative about this picture.

Teh hell? I've seen Swimsuit issue covers, I've seen covers with Beach Volleyball chicks in bikinis and this is supposed to provocative?

It's not provocative, but even if it was so what ?

The only thing that's controversial about it is the idea that women can't be good at something and be sexy at the same time.

While on the surface the pose makes sense, this particular shot is sexually suggestive as if she's an mutt offering herself up for intercourse. :alienblush:

For me the photo is tacky and degrading and the editor should be ashamed. She deserved better.

:borg:

If she was aghast herself she can't express that because of the PR fall-out and psychological edge she'd lose with competitors. The editor/photographer really bent her over without benefit of a reach around. :scream:

Got this from the comment section of that article about how outraged people are.

Yeah I think it crossed the line!! This is Sports Illustrated...she should have been in that same skiing position in a bikini.

Really makes you think...

You seem to be in a minority of people who find this picture sexually suggestive, so perhaps the problem lies with you, not the picture.

Myself, I just see a skier, on a mountain.
