My copy of the swimsuit edition showed up yesterday. That's more provocative than ski chick.

Guess what? The "ski chick" is in the swimsuit issue.

When I was in the sixth grade, my teacher used to give me her husband's old issues of SI after he'd finished reading them. One day in February 1980 she dropped this on my desk:

She might as well have dropped a sandbag on my head. You can imagine the effect this had on my twelve-year-old self. The skier cover doesn't hold a candle.
