Men, what do you look for in a lady?

Physically, takes care of herself (not one to just 'let herself go'), has a certain athleticism, strong. Build, I like the classic "bomber girl", busty, curvy, like the ladies painted on the sides of warplanes in WW2. No skinny, flat chested types for me, no sir. But maintains. Pretty, girl next door type. I especially like interesting eyes, a smile that shows personality, and a really good speaking voice gets to me.
Inwardly, smart, curious, well read and learned, cares about what's going on around her, thinks deeply about it. Arty, geeky (nerdgirls are SEXY), friendly. Confident, but not obnoxious. Knows how to converse. A mystical side is always nice, too. Not flaky or "woo woo", but a definite awareness of the "other side" of reality.

Well, no one has yet started a "Men, what do you look for in a man" thread, so hop to it!
Someone who is intelligent, somewhat cynical (as most intelligent people are in my books, though not all) but very optimistic. Someone strong and protective. I want a woman who I can look up to (I've never had anyone to look up to, not really, except possibly my uncle). I want a woman who will be a strong, protective presence around our children and I. Someone who makes me feel safe, secure. I want a woman I can be proud to call my mate, and dedicate myself to raising her children. I want someone I can be thankful for every day. I want a woman who is opinionated but open minded, logical yet emotional, deeply loving but less sensitive than I am (I need someone to reign in my strong emotions at times, be they upset, fear, anger, or

I want someone with strong views on the world, someone caring and strong and dedicated to the human people and their planet. I want her to have a wonderful, varied, powerful sense of humour (essential in my book). Someone who stands up for what she believes in. Someone who is never selfish, and always admits her responsibilities, yet knows how to take care of herself and would never let anyone walk all over her. Someone whose eyes I can look into and see depth, pain and hope and determination enough to relax around her. Someone who will say "this is my husband" and feel a pulse of protectiveness and love as I feel love and gratitude for her. Someone with whom combining my DNA with hers to produce children will be an honour. Someone who is confident, yet careful, strong and deeply compassionate. Someone who can help me work through the guilt and fear I have to deal with, because she knows it too, in a different way, and understands.

Honestly, there's still a part of me that loves and admires women like Angelina Jolie and Kim Kardashian.While it's been ages since I last dated a woman, I'd say looks weren't that important. I mean, sure, that was a plus, but I was more into a girl's personality and character. I asked, "Is she really into me?" I always liked a girl who was very much interested in me and appreciated me as a person; it's not that she and I had to have the exact same things in common, no. Chemistry, mutual affection and respect, those are important. In fact, I didn't realize any of this back then when I was much younger.

Are you KIDDING me? Dude, you can choose from a great age range of women, many of whom are looking for a good man. You absolutely have the advantage over younger guys in terms of dating serious women. All you have to do is refine your game and exude confidence. And leave the Red Sox chicks behind, of course!
Stereotypically feminine I suppose...ie: not overcompensating. I like strong women, but not those who would go out of there way to make a point for the sake of it.

I'm almost 40 and I find that there is quite a range of ages still interested or interesting.
