Well this pisses me off. So I pre-ordered ME2 on Amazon first thing Saturday morning. My expected ship date isn't until NEXT Monday!!! What the hell is that.

Did you pay for shipping? If not, that's why.

Well, Amazon had better be overnighting this thing to me. I had release date delivery and it's only just now changed to shipping soon. If I don't have Mass Effect 2 tomorrow I'll cry.

They've overnighted games to me before. I wouldn't worry.

So... you only get something on release day if you pay for shipping? I'll have to keep that in mind in the future. But I know we've ordered things before and gotten them on the day or so with free shipping. Not games but books/DVDs.

I think it depends on the game. I pre-ordered Modern Warfare 2 through Amazon, and I'm pretty sure I got it on release day at no extra charge. Then again, I'm an Amazon Prime member, so my shipping would have been free anyway.

So far I've killed Carth every single time. Only on the "get Carth achievement" run will he survive.

I ordered the game directly from EA. They sent me a 25% off discount on any game back on my birthday and I opted to use it on the Collector's Edition of Mass Effect 2.

It came this afternoon, I've been playing for the last few hours....so hard to stop playing....I really wish I didn't have to work tomorrow.

Bioware owns my soul, but honestly they can just keep it.

Yeah Kaiden is always the one that died in my save games. I also always fornicated with Ash.

I have 2 playthroughs, one with each surviving. Couldn't be arsed to fornicate with Ash. She just rubbed me the wrong way (Oi! No snickering there in the back! )

How could she rub you the wrong way, when you never gave her a chance to rub you?

(Seriously, people play Shepard as a male more than once? Even if I didn't want to be spending 20 hours of gameplay staring at femShep's ass instead of manShep's, the difference in the voice acting is huge.)

I let Kaiden die. No way was I giving up the chance to "comfort" Ashley.

Even, though, curiously, I put much more effort in with Liara.

Personally, when choosing between Liara and Ashley, I wanted to know where the "there's plenty of me to go around" option was, damn it.

Still, I do wonder what all the fuss was about. At it's most "controversial" (it isn't) your female Shepard can have sex with a blue skinned alien "woman".

I know what you mean, the voice acting for manShep felt really flat in comparison to femShep.

Seems that means I'll be playing my Paragon Engineer in ME2 then
