Cinderella story. Outta nowhere...

The mandatory health care system started by a Republican? Costs are going up yet again and people are sick of it. No, we don't love it and our Cadillac of governors says he's gonna have to ration services as I said in the UHC thread (with links).

The Globe article added: "Amid a severe recession that has led to cuts in state programs and unrelenting job losses, 59 percent of those surveyed said they favored the state's multi-million dollar insurance initiative, down from 69 percent a year ago.

The September poll also found that "opposition to the law stands at 28 percent, up slightly from 22 percent in a June 2008 survey" and that "only 11 percent of state residents favored repealing the law, similar to last year's finding."

You ≠ We
Ooooh, the Globe reporting a poll. Like the last one showing Coakley up by 15 points. Ouch - how did that work out?

Even their inflated numbers show how badly it's doing even among the knee-jerk Democrat voters in this state that consistently vote for corrupt politicians like Kennedy, Frank and all the local ones the Feds caught that Coakley missed.

In the face.
Up the ass.

Owned by the NY Times though! They MUST be on the level.

He also should have linked to Bob Gibbs on Fox News Sunday spinning the Mass election as an endorsement of Obama. Even Gibbs was about to bust out laughing.

Well, if you're going to ignore poll results based on previous erroneous polling you should probably ignore Rassmussen.

Big whoop..an inept campaign run much unlike Kennedy's campaigns in the past (he ran them as if he was the underdog..spending as much money as he was donated)..added to the fact that she was clearly NOT the candidate to play for the state as a whole..she assumed that she didn't have to try to win..and with a shitty performance in the debate 1 week or so prior..she deserved to lose..

I do like to see the Republicans success in this, it makes the national Democrats play more towards the center..and finally gets rid of the invulnerability myth of the Democrats..(please note this wasn't a "Pure Conservative" candidate by ANY stretch of the imagination..he was one of those reviled moderate ones) So maybe now the Democrats can be less dependent on the far left nutjobs that helped to stall the Healthcare bill for almost a YEAR...

When people voted for a change in government, they didn't only mean the Executive Branch of government...they meant THE ENTIRE GOVERNMENT, something that the Democrats in Congress failed to realize...and now if they are smart, they will include the Republicans in the process. If the Republicans don't start playing towards the center and remain the party of NO..they won't win much more than this victory..

it will be an interesting election season..

Up the ass.

Thus answering the eternal question: What would the typical three-word Steven Seagal movie titles look like if he had decided to go into porn instead of bad action films.

Please stop with the back and forth personal jabs though.
I thought the proper third option is 'under the arm.' This is why I never went on Match Game.

I was always afraid Gene was going to bludgeon Charles Nelson Reilly because of those dumb answers he always gave. That's why I never went on.

The Republicans will be too busy putting candidates to the "Reagan Test" to check for ideological purity. Some-one like Brown would fail and be disendorsed.

Then again the man who it's named after would also of failed given his spending, tax increases and signing a very significant piece of gun control law into place.

Charles and Brett made half the show, while Gene and Richard made the other half. Everyone else is just icing on the cake. :D
