O'Brien out, Leno back in?

Jimmy Fallon had a really sweet tribute to Conan at the beginning of his show.

I didn't think I'd ever come close to tearing up over anything like The Tonight Show, but Conan really got me there. Class act. Great guy. I'll be there for sure wherever he ends up.

Btw,

Dear Internet,

T'Baio told you so.

;)

Well, it's official: the Tonight Show is dead. I think Johnny Carson would have been proud of what Conan did, and I hope that his new show, whenever and wherever it is, becomes the proud institution that the Tonight Show once was.

Everything about it was pure Tonight Show. The set, the graphics, the feel, the side kick, the sense of humour, the heart. Everything Jay Leno does not have.

Amen.

Will Ferrell brought his real wife(hippy dawn lol)

and she was really pregnant with their third child

I didn't realize that besides getting rid of the Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien they also canceled the Tonight Show with Will Ferrell!

;) Honestly the last bit felt more like his farewell then Conan's

Tonight's show was just pure class from beginning to end. The last 20 minutes was especially tear-jerking... Neil Young's song was incredibly moving. Conan's final words with the audience were gracious when he could just as easily have been bitter and sarcastic and biting (and would have received a standing ovation for it). And the jam session — even though Ferrell upstaged Conan more than a bit — was a load of fun. What a great way to end the show.

NBC is nothing to me now. "You're not a brother, you're not a friend. I don't want to know you or what you do."

I hope wherever Conan ends up, he'll be able to bring Andy, Max and the band, and as many staffers as possible.

And I really, really want to see Conan as a guest on Dave.

Officially, anyway. I'm sure things will happen behind the scenes.

Right now I'm being cheered up by Mythbusters appearing on Craig's show. Kari's looking pretty good.

I think it gives Conan more hype not being on other talkshows as a guest...when he does have his new show...everyone will be tuned in...more so than just Coco fans.

:(

That was amazing. I especially liked Conan's call against cynicism. I'm going to do something awesome today in honor of Conan being a great person.
