What Did You Have For Dinner Last Night?

Airplane food. I'm surprised I'm still alive.

Actually, to be honest, it was at least two notches above cardboard. Their brunch "omelette" was fairly vile but dinner was almost palatable. Shocking, I know.

^ Wow! What airline still serves "food" as opposed to teeny tiny bags of peanuts?

British Airways.

I always use them whenever I can because they're still a proper full-service airline. I noticed that they've even upgraded their entertainment system to full video-on-demand even in "World Traveller" (read: cattle class, though I nabbed the extra legroom seats both ways), so there's now a really wide range of new and old movies and TV to watch and you have full control over when it starts/finishes and can rewind, etc. A life-saver on a 12 hour flight, believe me.

Ironically enough though, they've phased out the tiny bags of peanuts. Seriously. I asked for some with my G&T and was told they're no longer available due to cost cutting but I could have some chocolate-covered raisins instead. Don't ask me to explain why these are cheaper than the peanuts.

The same thing I have every other thursday night, Pinky

Spaghetti with Meat Sauce (meat fresh, sauce from can)

I need to learn some new recipes. :shifty:

Chinese takeout - Shrimp fried rice, spice-sour soup & egg-roll with lots o' hot mustard. Yum-oh!

I found a chicken and noodles recipe that I tweeked a little bit: cream of chicken & mushroom soups, 4 chicken thighs (which I deep fried and deboned), a pint of sour cream, and a block of cubed cheddar and a package of egg noodles. More cheese and a crapload of potato chips gets sprinkled over the top / bake for 40 minutes and voila...

:drool::drool::drool: soooo good :techman:

I tossed in four organic chicken drumstick w/ breast into the crock pot, added a jar of Seeds of Change Jalfrezi Simmer Sauce, 3/4 jar of water, and tossed in a potato during the last hour of the cooking cycle.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm.
