So with the cancellation of the nuTrek novels this summer, what novels WILL we get in the next several months?

Power to the fanboys to write 4 Trek novels! 
How about they reprint the novels that inspired the movie.
Omnibuses is the correct plural form. The Latin word omnibus is a plural adjective, the dative plural of omnis, and you can't pluralize something that's already plural. The suffix is -ibus, not -us. (And -ii isn't the plural of -us, -i is. You only see -ii in words whose singular ends in -ius.) It's only in English that omnibus is a singular noun, so it's pluralized by English rules.
I agree with Hartzilla2007. I think it would be cool if pocket reprinted the books that Mr. Orci said were an influence on the writing of ST09. If I remember correctly the books were: Prime Directive, Best Destiny, Spock's World, and Christopher's Ex Machina. I need a copy of Prime directive, and I wouldn't mind a new copy of Spock's World...
They didn't say they were direct influences on the story, just that they were favorites.

And a reprint of Ex Machina (if it sells well) could be the impetus for sequels. I'm all for that.
Well we know that June and September have no novels but July and August have the two CoE omnibuses.
Why not schedule MyrU Shattered Light for September, it is just about enough time for the writers involved to do their thing. As for June, I think a reprint might be the only option.

The original is still "in print", AFAIK. Many bookshops I visit have copies, and they don't sell fast enough to prompt a reprint.

While we're speculating, Amazon has a listing for Seize The Fire, but says it's coming out November 1st. I wonder if all this scrambling over the cancellations has delayed Typhon Pact, or if that was going to happen anyway just from the editorial changes. Or if Amazon is wrong. No idea, really, but worth mentioning.
So far as I know, TP is still on the schedule, and no changes to release dates were mentioned. I spoke with Jaime last week after all of this came down, and she said we were still a go and that I should keep hacking away. 
... or enough time to re-read LOTR.

That would be "No."
Looking at the release schedule, there's only three months that need to be filled, with a little creativity.
Move Unspoken Truths from April to May, leaving Star Trek Online alone in April. (Mass-markets are doubled up that month.)
Move The Children of Kings from May to June. That fills the hole left by Refugees.
At that point, you now only have three mass-market slots to fill -- July, August, and September.
And I've already suggested what I would do -- a mass-market duology of Slings & Arrows (July and August, maybe?) with an anthology reprint (maybe Sky's the Limit?) in September. Or, possibly pull the Typhon Pact books forward a month into September.
That's what I would do.
