Is James Cameron Now the Most Powerful?

The truth of the matter is James Cameron barely directed Piranha 2. He was fired after only a week or two on set and it was finished by someone else.

Powerful? Probably not in reality, although he may still think he's "king of the world".

Not is THIS reality.

He can make his own reality now. Where he's king of Zazunaba and everything said has the opposite meaning.

The truth of the matter is James Cameron barely directed Piranha 2. He was fired after only a week or two on set and it was finished by someone else.

That claim has floated around, but biographers who have looked into it have found that Cameron did shoot the film (although with significant interference), but was locked out of the editing room. Cameron went so far as to break into the editing room, using a credit card to unlock the door, to cut his own version of the film, but the producer found out and put an end to that.

Two weeks on a film like that is probably at least half the shoot, so he probably did shoot "most" of it. But he couldn't communicate with his crew and he got ill, and the producers did shoot a large portion of the film without him.

Regardless, the fact is, the film available to see is hardly a "James Cameron film" in any way, shape or form.
