Out of all TNG main characters who could carry their own spin-off and be successful?

Who has the most interesting stories yet to tell?

The top contender I believe is Worf.

Maybe bring in a VOY character to support him???

I have no clue who would work from VOY...The hell with it...7 Of 9 or Tuvok.

Hm. Riker and Worf, most definitely. Follow the Titan novels and bring in Tuvok, and there you go.

Maybe Worf can join 7 of 9 for 'Sta Trek: Moonlighting.' :p

Guinan, I think there would of been a lot you could of done with her character, she was interesting to start with and there was a lot missing from her back story. Plenty of room to explore.

If Worf hadn't gone to DS9 he could have been assigned to another starship, perhap as first officer and in charge of away teams, he would of possessed he's own style and still you would have seen hints of his previous shipmates in his decisions Given his rank he might have been place in command of a small starship of his own (Defiant size). Third possibility, Worf could be Court martial out of star fleet, become a wondering ronin within the federation.

Wesley, not everyone's favorite, his situation the last time we saw him on the show would have lent itself to a interesting show.

^No. Guinan isn't exactly what they'd look for in a main character for a Trek series. Perhaps a Cheers type show set in the Star Trek Universe at a starbase. But even less people would tune in.

And adding more information about Guinan would ruin the character. She was supposed to be mysterious.

    Good point!

    Aside from him, Data.

And perhaps Worf - not my favorite character, but he seems quite popular.

I think a Titan series with Riker would be interesting.

Is Frakes still keen on Star Trek appearances? Do you think he would actually star in a Titan series?

I don't know about recently, but based on how he's been in the past I think he'd jump at it!

What about a Wesley Crusher/Traveller series where the Traveller took Wesley as his companion on adventures through time and space?

What do you mean Doctor Who already did it?

Or Counsellor Troi could become an empathic criminal investigator. It would be just like Psych without the clever central conceit.

Or Geordi and Data could quit their jobs with Star Fleet to pursue their dream of being performers. Due to a misunderstanding they quickly find work as a ventriloquist duo, but what the audience doesn't realise is that Geordi isn't a ventriloquist. Misunderstandings and hilarity (fail to) ensue.

Okay, they might be a bit high budget so how about several centuries in the future Data tells his children about how he met their mother... really just a framing device for repeats of TNG episodes.

 Sounds like a late-night show on Cinemax.

What about an Odd Couple-style sitcom about Worf and Data? Or even better, Worf and Barclay.
