Sweet zombie jesus - it's... TWINS!

My wife and I are pleased to announce we are having our planned second and totally unexpected third child sometime in the middle of the year. We just had our 13 week scan and all look good, low risk of downes syndrome (1 in 4000) and it looks at this stage like they're fraternal.

My wife and I both have twins in our family so it wasn't that unexpected, however my wife's medication for her rheumatoid arthritis has been playing havoc with her cycle so she most likely just shot out two eggs.

To my friends on facebook, please wait till you see the images on my profile before commenting there, for us to inform crucial people in person.

So yeah... a little freaky... but it means a people mover and bigger house a lot sooner than we expected....

Feel free to post names. We have some in mind but are open to suggestion. We find out the gender at 20 weeks.

AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Congrats times two. Or maybe squared. :bolian:

Richard would be a good name. It sounds... lion hearted.

I wanted to name my son Thor but couldn't talk my husband into it for some strange reason.

I also like the name Isaac. Emma is nice girls name.

Yay babies!

I had a conversation with a friend the other day about cool/funny baby names. We decided that if anybody ever had twins of the opposite sex, they should be named Clark and Addison (the intersection where Wrigley Field is in Chicago).

Congratulations! That's really wonderful!!

As far as names go, rent "She's Having a Baby" just for the end credits which has a slew of famous and not so famous people giving their suggestions for names.

Or, you could go with Randi/Randy which is appropriate for either sex.

And, i would definitely go with naming one James Tiberius if you find out you are having two boys.

Congratulations! We'll be waiting to hear the genders!

I guess that would sound better than "161st" and "River".

Congratulations! You didn't really need all that sleep anyway - did you!?!?!?!

I suppose Luursa and Betor are out . . .
