Sorry, I didn't realize Letterman's target audience needed positive reinforcement. Would it make you feel better if I just said "Oprah, Uma" a lot?

It's just funny that you, the king of repetitive gimmicks, is ripping on Letterman (or anyone else for that matter) for using repetitive humor. You have one type of joke and only six types of posts:

- As mentioned, bad dialogue and plot swapping "jokes" in the middle of a thread that add nothing of value.

- White people are victims of reverse racism, and all accusations of racism today are examples of political correctness gone overboard. Oh, and it's okay for me to make racist remarks or say they're okay because I'm a minority.

- Pictures of hot babes from sometimes only vaguely science fiction and fantasy related films or TV.

- Comment/grade on every TV show on the air, because I apparently have a lot of time on my hands. Oh, and I start whining if anyone dares to do it themselves if I miss one.

- Here's the latest Asylum direct-to-DVD knock-off of a major blockbuster film out in theaters.

- Months or years ago someone on TrekBBS said something I found stupid which I will now re-post or put in my sig completely out of context to mock them and show how much better I am than the irrational fanboys here.
 
Yea from Kimmel to Ferguson to Letterman it's all pretty obvious NOBODY likes Jay Leno and those guys like or respect Conan.

It's kind of a fraternity, sorta like NFL QB's. Yea, they might be competing against each other, but once that game is over they know there's only a handful of other people in the world who know what it feels like to be a QB in the NFL, to deal with the criticisms from the media, from the fans, to try and lead a team, etc...

Based on Jay Leno's history of screwing people over I think the talk show host 'fraternity' has effectively banished him from their ranks and they're more or less showing it in how they're handling it. Sure there's jokes about the situation and Conan, but there's equal parts sympathy from the other hosts.
 
The idea that Leno is upset is pure nonsense. This is what he's wanted from day one, he wanted to keep doing the 11:30 tonight show. He's thrilled, but has to act like he's upset he isn't.

We could all see Conan going to fox or somewhere. I have NO DOUBT whatsoever Jay stays no matter what the hell his people leak.

The problem with Leno pretending to care is the fact if he did he would say "No, I want to keep my 10pm show, I refuse to screw Conan", but he hasn't.

The real bad guy is NBC, but while we are at it we can make fun of Leno too.

BTW, some of Aragorn's dialogue/plot swaps are pretty funny. I enjoyed Jack Bauer in Lord of the Rings. :techman:

Wow Conan and his writers are really ratcheting up the NBC shots with each subsequent episode. It's almost like they are seeing how much they have to do to make NBC just refuse to air a show lol
 
Conan and Kenneth the Page were hilarious, oh and:
"In fact, Mr. Weinberg's family and even his other secret family uprooted and moved out here" to which we get a shot of Max's face. Priceless! :lol:
 
My favorite line so far tonight was when Kenneth the page said basically "It's interesting to note that NBC spent more time building this studio for the Tonight Show then it was actually used." lol

Yeah, that surprised me. Up to this point, Conan was using kid gloves with Jay, but now he's just firing right at him. I think it's hilarious... and Leno is deserving. :lol:

Not really. Extreme repetition over a period of years breeds easy recognition.

Apart from your annual groundhog-like appearance in TNZ whenever a major decision on gay marriage comes up, which means six more weeks of intolerance, you're hardly a blip on my radar.
