I hope its good. After the lackluster last season, this 'old' series needs an energetic jab in the arm!
This is too funny. Possibly not from this episode but... Spoiler: Kryptonsite Rumour Lois will wear a Wonder Woman costume in an upcoming episode.
I wonder, due to DC's bizarre view of things, if it'll be more of a "inspired by" costume (like how Stilleto was Batman inspired) as opposed to an exact copy.
Most TV versions of that costume tend to be "inspired by" anyway simply because it's too tight and revealing for a woman to wear - so we end up with it looking like a baggy 1950's swimming costume.
Even when this show is at its worst I still enjoy it. I'm kinda geeked about this episode as it's really the first appearance of actual costumes rather than functional outfits loosely based on costumes. I do wish that Clark would lose the stupid trenchcoat.
Yeah, I wished they used the black t-shirt and jeans look of Conner Kent (Superboy) from the comics instead of the Matrix-look.
I think that kind of coat is actually called a duster. And it works for me as a more down-to-earth interpretation of a cape.
I say go ahead and create some actual costume for him made out of Kryptonian fabric or something. Then in the final episode have it torn to shreds for whatever reason and have him go to the one we all know. But I think having it all be black was a bad choice. Should have had some red or blue in it. Anyway, I'm still geeked about this episode.
I keep hearing rumors that Clark will get a more traditional looking Superman costume after "Absolute Justice". Hope it actually happens.
There's a story on Kryptonsite that Smallville's "Disciple", the first new episode after the break, will be delayed by a cross-network telethon for Haiti.
I was just thinking that, if this is successful then maybe it's the way to go next year; instead of doing a whole season, just a few of these type episodes spread across the year. It's just that, if the show ends after this season it'll be a like five shows short of the mythical 200; it'd be kind of a shame...
I can see them pulling a "Sci-Fi" and renew it simply for the 200+ episode mark and canceling it right after it breaks SG-1's North American record.
Re: Cross Network Marathon to help Haiti Exactly, Friday night, the night networks know fewer people are home wathcing TV means less pissed off people. If the Networks want to impress me with their concern for Haiti then do this on Thursday night, cut into the CSI's, Office etc shows.
off subject for a moment, i'm not usually and allison mack fan but i gotta say procutus, that is a really attractive pic you have of her as your avatar
