Blue Screen of Death!

I got a mini acer notebook for Christmas so I've had it for less than a month and already got a Trojan virus which had been quarantined by McAfee then I got the bright idea of following the instructions on McAfee and downloading a Microsoft program to eliminate the virus when...caput...blue screen of death shows up and I'm fucked. Anyone know what the problem might be and if I can fix it? It won't even let me go into safe mode or anything else. It's just a little internet type mini-notebook...I'm really pissed about it because I'm afraid I've lost all my stuff and will have to return it or something.

"Cannot access Printer...???...(points) It's right there! I can access printer!"

Yeah it mentioned something about disabling drivers or waiting for the next bios update...I'm thinking how the fuck can I do either of these things when you won't let me. I really despise the blue screen of death.

What message comes up on the blue screen?
I just got back online after getting the blue screen of really was death on boxing day! My blue screen said 'inaccessable boot device'.
Long story short after trying everything i could think of i have had to completely swap out my P4 system with my old P3 and swap the hard drive. I did that because i only have one ide connector on the P4 motherboard and only one sata drive that i had to swap with an ide drive so i dont risk losing totally everything on my sata drive.
After many problems trying to reinstall windows and get my floppy drive to work and low level format the hard drive because it had an mbr error i have finally managed to get this thing to work!
I now need to try and get a new sata drive so i can try and get the P4 up and running. The P3 is dead slow in comparison and has no memory!
If you haven't backed up your stuff on your hard drive and you have files you can't lose on there, i suggest you buy a new hard drive, extract the bad one from your laptop, install the new one and reload your os from scratch.
You can then get an external caddie for the hard drive and rescue your files, which is what i have to do as i have over 400gb of precious files on it which i pray haven't been wiped!
Otherwise if you have nothing important on the drive and you can't repair the system from your system disk then you will have reformat the drive and reinstall everything.
Sorry i can't give you better news than that.
