To be fair it is kind of silly to blame any parent for the actions of their teenage child. You could say it is how they were raised, but come on, what teenager tries to follow everything their parents say religiously.

As to the OP: Contrary to what Sarah Palin argued publicly, Letterman's joke was very clearly only ever about Bristol. And the fact that Palin made it into an argument about the sexualization of her young daughter when none existed before hand is disgusting.

I just can't figure out why he is still around. He is a relic who jumped the shark circa the late 80s and still does his same old tired schtick. Ditto for Chris Berman and his lame sayings on ESPN. Two tired acts.

Surely I'm not the only one who thinks he is not funny. I like Conan and Craig Ferguson much more.
