The End Of Time Part 1 - Comment & Grading SPOILERS

Thank goodness, thought I'd gone mad! I think what made me think of it was The Master dressed up as one of Naismith's gaurds with his helmet visor lifted up, reminded me very much of the 4th Doc doing the same.

Hm, I'm not sure what you're referring to but it's been ages since I've seen The Leisure Hive.

I'm thinking I'm going to rewatch this part while I wait for Part Two. Hopefully I'll enjoy it more the second time with certain things in better perspective.

At the end of the Leisure Hive aren't there loads of copies of Tom Baker wandering around? :)
Ooooohhh, yeaaaahhh! Yes, I had forgotten about that.

well most people have probably forgotten about the Leisure Hive :)

I think The Doctor is going to "reboot" Earth and erase aliens (himself included) from their memories. Or not. I just keep going back and forth on this.

The Gate will cure Donna.

To stop the Time Lords, The Doctor will have to get Wilf to kill him. I'm thinking there's something about The 10th Doctor's resistance to dying that, if unchecked, will lead to something bad (i.e. Time Lord Victorious, Valeyard, etc.) Something about his death will save the timeline, stop the TLs, and the 'noble sacrifice' will come from his choosing to die.

Or not.

With RTD, I find that I enjoy the solutions I think he's headed for, instead of a lot of the ones he actually gives us... ;)

Yeah, when it comes to RTD often the solutions he might lead too are usually more inventive than what he actually ends up with. Dear God please let him defeat the Master(s) and the timelords by flicking some switches!!!

Hmmm, well switches is preferable to him going all Jebus on us again at least!

BTW, Happy New Year to all of those who share GMT with me ;)

I wouldn't be bothered if that happened. The method by which The Doctor saves the day is probably the least interesting aspect of any DW episode anyway.

The Doctor- ....because if there's one thing you don't want me to doing, it's flicking all these switches!

The Master and Bond!Lord- NOOOO!

*Murray gold wave of happiness*

well we know the gate is controlled by computers, so if he uses that to undo the "Master Race" at least some of it will involve typing, that said that was always theDoctorDonnas area of expertise.

As for the timelords, he will probaly just trap them in a Paradox.

Presumably they were fully grown versions of himself since adults of all shapes and sizes became him as well.

That was a strange one because you see some people change size, but then you also see Naismith and his daughter side by side and even as The Master "she" is shorter than he is.

Yeah whilst in the White House Simm is patently wearing the clothes of at least one fat man, plus there's the Doctor's comment in pt 2 about the gaurd's height!
