I think the fact that DINKY is airing on BBC 7, will be news to alot of people, not just that its airing, but that it exists.

at least the Daily Mail wont be able to say the BBC didnt get there moneys worth from David Tennant this christmas.

Both the BBC and Tennant have really overdone the death of the Doctor. I hope Moffat (or whoever is in charge when Smith regenerates) learns a bit of a lesson from this.

Does it mention in there that he's on Beeb 1 every half hour in the linking chrimbo fun pieces? The tardis is buried in snow and he hooks it up to reindeers and whizzes around.

After weeks of this being on my GF just noticed this the other day and giggled... and she hates Doctor Who (though she's being forced to warm up to it ;))

His appearance on Catherine Tates Christmas special was amusing, and he was on Graham Nortons show quite recently and Channel 4's Chatty Man last night.

It's a bit of an overload, but one I don't mind.

I still haven't seen the one where he digs the Tardis out of the snow yet. :(

Absolute rot. Quizcoms and chatshows are solely for people with things to promote at the time. So Tennant ended up on a lot of them - who cares? He's an entertaining man whose representatives have made the most of his popularity.

Better him than Gervais, Kay and the others who are on some chat show or other every ten minutes. Let him have his moment.

Let him have his moment.
Exactly. Much as it pains me to say it, because I think Tennant's wonderful as an actor, but this could be his high point. He's reached the toppermost of the poppermost, and there's nowhere else to go but down. Yes, I'll watch his show on NBC or CBS or whichever network it is, but it won't have the same impact.

Agreed, Allyn. Tennant can't go to loftier heights of popularity in his career, so now is his time to 'take over' the BBC. He's destined for great things on screen and stage in the future, but very unlikely it will ever match his time as the Doctor. 'Toppermost of the poppermost' is a new one on me though!

I've also only just noticed that well over half that list is repeats of things that are being repeated all the time anyway, series 4 in particular. 49/75 items are repeats. Hardly real dominance. It's actually annoying me that someone felt the need to make this list.

It's part of a pep talk the Beatles would do before concerts early in their career. It goes something like this:

"Where are we going, Johnny?"
"To the top, boys!"
"And where is that?"
"To the toppermost of the poppermost."

He was rubbish on QI though.

lets be honest he is not going to be around much next year, and chances are Sky will bid back for his NBC pilot.

I think this is one of the times I'm glad I'm an American fan. I'd probably be getting sick of the damn thing by now if I lived over there.

I have only seen him in 5 things, as someone pointed out a majority of them are repeats, some of which would be on regardless.

I just can't believe an MP took time out to complain about this.

I've enjoyed seeing him around the tv over the Christmas period, to be honest. I find him a likeable and engaging chap, and, to be honest it's nice to have one of "our" people on the telly rather than a load of celeb D-listers or footballers I don't give a crap about.
