^damn, man, theres a Ramen joint here with a similar thing going on and I just can't do it...whats your secret?
First thing is that you need spice tolerance... which wasn't the problem for me. The main issues are the temperature (it's PIPING hot!), the time limit, and the quantity!
So for the temperature, I just dumped two glassfuls of ice into the bowl, since the timer starts as soon as they serve you. Otherwise, it takes forever and a half to cool down! As for the time limit, best tactic is to attack the solids first, as quick as possible. For two reasons, first is that the longer they sit in the soup, the more they absorb the spice. Second is so you could just CHUG the soup as soon as you're done with the solids.
The quantity is the most daunting part of it for me. All I can suggest is to have some solid foods for breakfast to expand the stomach, and not eat for lunch to make room for the challenge at around dinner time...
