Memo to Demi Moore: This is what Ashton Kutcher does to people. Run, and run fast.

Girl was fine as hell. I always enjoyed her Harley Quinnesque performances even if most of her movies were god awful.

Apparently the girl loved drugs as much as she loved sex. She banged some porter at some kids barmitsfa supposedly. My kind of girl. Unlike Lyndsey Lohan, she could handle that type of lifestyle. Then, again.....

Damn this is not the news I wanted to wake up to when I opened my browser to Yahoo. She was one of my Hollywood crushes. She seemed like a genuinely sweet girl.:sigh:

32? Holy Hell. :wtf: I'm not really familiar with her, but that's awful, no matter what. :(

    :(

I had such a huge crush on her. She had a very unique charm and I thought her talent was above the roles she was given.

    Very sad. RIP

Wow, this is really shocking. For some reason, I thought she was younger than me (turns out she's five years older), but it's really shocking she died from a cardiac arrest at such a young age.

    Rest in peace, Brittany.

Drugs and/or an eating disorder can take it's toll on the heart.

32... way too young to die. How awful.

I can't say I've actually seen her in very much, but I always thought she seemed cute and charming. However, given how thin she sometimes appeared, I did wonder if she had an eating disorder or a drug problem... I wish my suspicions had been baseless, but after this, that doesn't appear to be the case. How unfortunate that she couldn't find the help she needed.

I was totally stunned when I heard the news. O. M. G. Condolences to her family.

Unfortunately it is probably true. She was notorious for being kind of chunky when she was in Clueless than being really rail thin her entire career after that.

According to this, her husband doesn't want an autopsy to be performed on her. Hm. :vulcan: While it's likely he's just trying to preserve her dignity and reputation, it's also potentially fishy. An autopsy will be carried out regardless.

The same article mentions that her mother found her body, and told paramedics that Brittany had a history of diabetes, so perhaps that was a factor in her death.

I've also read that in the past few weeks she had apparently been talking about her desire to have a baby in the coming year... how very sad. :(

Other than her voice work in Happy Feet I haven't seen (or heard) anything she appeared in, but that's beside the point: 32 is far too young to die. RIP.

This is just a few days after losing Roy E. Disney, Walt's nephew who fought Eisner for years and was trying to restore the Disney magic.

Bad year for celebrities. 32 is too young to go. R.I.P. Brittany Murphy and Roy E. Disney this week.

I had a childhood neighbor (who was also the HS class president) pass away from a heart condition -- and she was only 23. Either way, 32 is still too young. My thoughts go out to her family and friends.
