Looks awesome. We get a little more on the plot.

It looks mostly like I'd expect a Tim Burton Alice to be... but I'm not exactly enthused either, and I tend to like Burton.

The new trailer clearly establishes this as a sequel to the original story not just another remake. Very interesting. It looks like it's going to be fun. I love the way the Queen of Hearts uses the pig as furniture.

Looks pretty terrible to me... but then, I've never been a Burton fan. And yes, Depp looks even worse than he did in Willy Wonka.

The girl looks hot, and the English accent doesn't hurt, but that's really all that appeals.

The Queen of Hearts is from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland while the Red Queen & White Queen are from Through the Looking Glass.

Seems like they combined the two. Helena Bonham Carter's character shouts "Off with her head!" and plays croquet with a flamingos like the Queen of Hearts. However she is called the Red Queen in the trailer.

That's how I interpreted the trailer also. Its been a quite a few years since I have read both books though I've been casually reading Sylvie & Bruno recently—now that would be interesting to see an attempt to make into a movie.
