Why did I agree to that?

 So in less than 8 hours, I will be going to the airport to fly up to Minnesota. Now it's colder than a polar bear's cave down here in Texas but it's even worse in Minnesota. I'm not used to cold weather. I like it. I enjoy it. But not 0 below weather. I don't even have clothing for that anymore.

So...if you don't see me in 5 days, grab some ice chisels and start carving an ice sculpture out of my frozen remains.

*shivers*

Okay, below 30 is acceptable, especially for Texas. I was expecting you to be like, "Oh no, it's 60 degrees, and I'm freezing!" :p

I know what people are gonna say, but i've only seen snow once.

I'll keep my rain thank you very much. I don't live in a land slide area or a flood plain, so i'm good.

Frankly, I'm going to miss the Iowa ice storms this year. They were so creepy! 30 minutes just to scrape the ice off your windshield. Every street without power. Driving home with nothing but your headlights on creepy unlit roads. Every road covered with an inch of ice. None of the traffic lights work. And everything is completely still.

It's eerie.

Yeah if the ground opens up and you fall to the centre of the earth then at least you know its warm Lol.
Personally we get a bit of a nippy wind up 'ere i t' north (that was my attempt at a northen accent in text btw) but we're so close to the sea that we don't really get much in the way or snow or ice just lots and lots of rain.

To be fair, here in Los Angeles, we freeze at 50. The 45 it is right now is really cold for us.

But no snow so :p

45 would be nice for me. Although to be fair, nice and warm for you is probably stifling hot for me.

J.

I'm not a fan of the heat. If it would remain 70 to 75F all year long, that would be perfect.
