New And Improved PICTURE THREAD!

I took this from the warmth of my apartment:

Ah, winter...

The OEM Focus tires are Goodyear Eagle RS-As...that's why the damn thing is stuck. In addition to having those pieces of shite on my Focus when I bought it, another set on a Chevy rental almost had me spin out into the business end of a Dodge Ram on a highway on-ramp. Joy.

I'm actually really sad. The trimming of the Xmas Tree has usually been upon me. This time, they trimmed it without me, so when i got home, i was all sad. :(

Yeah, it's always upsetting when one of your traditions gets ignored. They should have at least waited for you.

At least leave like, part of the tree for me to trim. :( But oh well, it's done.

Oy, that reminds me of the year my family forgot to invite me to Thanksgiving dinner.

Went to the Maple Leafs skills competition this afternoon with my girlfriend. I found it pretty dull, but she was screaming stuff like "Why can't you do that in a REAL game?!"

...which was more than enough to entertain me for a couple hours.

I'm 6' 3". I was really surprised with how comfortable I was in the car. The windshield was a bit lower than I'm used to, but I like it.
Cool... I'm 6' 4" so I should be able to fit nicely into it. ;)
Depends on how big your torso is relative to your legs. I'm 6'3" but I have a long torso so I barely fit in it without the sun roof, but I have leg room to spare..
My legs are reasonably long, so I think I should be alright.

I doubt I'll get the car anyway, it'll be way too expensive over here.

Actually prices are starting to drop to very reasonable levels here in Sweden at least. Now I just need to have the money for the damn thing!

:(

When first imported this summer the dealership I'm looking at the most had their first Camaro SS at 575 000 Swedish Crownes (about 56k Euro), now that's dropped to 485 000 (about 48k Euro). For a brand new Mustang GT you pay 435 000 (about 42K Euro).

The price difference is because of the Camaro still being pretty exclusive around here, and the Camaro is a tad more expensive then the Mustang. I'm expecting the price to have dropped to 450 000 (about 43k Euro) for a brand new Camaro SS by summer.

For me that's pretty okay, I'd like it to be under 400 000 (about 39k Euro) but that's not to be expected unless the Swedish economy gets a whole lot stronger. Last summer a brand new Mustang went for 350 000 (34k Euro), but then economy thing, bla bla.

^ Seems reasonable. I just checked a German car website and they have a ton of them listed. The V6 ones seem to go for about 33k € while the V8 ones start at about 40k €.

^Yeah some sixes have started popping up for that amount as well. Very small amount of stuff in them though. What cracks me up is that that the only version of the V6 I'd considered, the 2LT with the RS package, costs about 40k Euro here. If I literally go up about 2K Euro I can find a 2SS/RS in the south of Sweden.

In the end though it doesn't matter, once I have the money I will be ordering to the specs I want (2SS/RS, manual, no fucking sunroof, Yellow with Black Rally stripes :D).

But to bring the thread back a bit on course, here's a photo:

It's one of the last pics of Keiran, our great little American Cocker Spaniel that we had to put down in September. I miss him greatly :(

Honestly, I'd perfectly happy with the 1LT. The equipment it comes with is just fine with me. I'd most likely also get it in yellow with black stripes. The thing that worries me is whether or not I could have it serviced properly. We're a small country, so finding a good shop to do the services and any possible repairs could be a problem.

^Your kids' trying to hypnotize us to do his bidding by his adorableness! I'm sure of it.

Me I'm a gadgetfreak when it comes to cars. So I want my Bluetooth and USB connection and upgraded stereo and so on. Plus I want a V8 seeing as they might be getting scarce at cars at this pricelevel. What it comes down to finally though is that this is the one car I want new, that's all mine, that I get to break in myself.

The service thing is one of the reasons why I'm looking at a specific dealer, seeing as they have a GM certified service shop.

I'm terribly sorry to hear that, the picture shows that he looks adorable.

^He was really great. First dog we had from when he was a little puppy. In fact my mom just posted some pics on her facebook account that I didn't even know we had:

That's him when we just got him, he's a month or so old. Cutest thing ever!

But we had to put him down. You can't really see in the pic I posted furhter up, but he had loads of sores over his body that we just couldn't cure him off. We and the vet tried everything, but in the end it was just cruel to make him suffer any longer. So we put him down, and freed him of his pain. Mom thinks he's waiting for us in the next life. I hope so. Because I miss him a lot.
