Also the Angel crossover episode ("Remember Me?" I think it was) wherin he becomes mortal and he and Buffy spend a wonderous afternoon of "normal" love and companionship (and humping like bunnies). Sarah's performance when she finds out it all has to be erased may just be her most heart-wrenching ever.
I've loved all the little analogies to teen love cliches throughout the series - like the ol' "The world won't end if you sleep with your boyfirend" trope. Oh yeah? And one line of Buffy's (maybe in the Xmas episode) where she told Angel that when she thinks of their relationship, "I want to die." And you realize she means it in a very literal way, because then they can be together for eternity. Her perfect delivery of that line gives me a chill every time.
