I love..GAGA!!!

I had never seen her before the AMA show, and then last night she was on Jay Leno. The song was interesting, but I really liked the interview. She came off pretty intelligent. She won me over when she said she idolized Judy Garland AND Led Zepplin. Wow...

I'll say it again; her performance, and more importantly, her songs were far and away the best part of that show. All the other women were awful..she was unique AND her songs actually had some great chord progressions.

So...yes, GAGA was good!!

I love "Just Dance" and "Paparazzi."

Never heard them. I am going to get her album tomorrow. Not sure what I am going to get myself into. I will have to remove the TREX XI soundtrack from my cd player..but..I'm willing to take the risk!!!

I was going to get Adam Lambert's album..not now.

There is a bit of backlash against Lady GaGa because she's quite the attention-seeker, although I find her music very enjoyable. And she actually does write the songs, play the synths (and other instruments), etc.

I enjoy her music and her videos are quite imaginative. She certainly isn't one of those cookie-cutter one hit teen studio creations. Not sure if she designs her own outfits or her hairstyles but they are rather inventive too. She also seems to have this air of mystery around her.

I just got through watching "Bad Romance" and I can't seem to get the song out of my head.

Her album is catchy clubby dance-pop - fun but nothing I listen to that much. That said, I have huge respect for her artistic vision and her musical talent. I love her acoustic videos on youtube, where it's just her and a piano, playing around with the melodies and rhythms, just belting the songs out. And her live performances - concepts, costumes, everything - are brilliant.

I don't really follow pop music so from a distance she looks like a bit of an attention whore. She also seems enrolled in the Dennis Rodman school of attention getting which seems more than a tad shallow both on her part and the people who follow her. Her songs are ridiculously catchy though so when they come on the radio I don't change the station. I don't see why she can't at least have a partial amount of the kind of career Madonna had.

She is obsessed with fashion, so she probably does design many of her outfits herself. I couldn't care less about fashion so I pay very little attention to that. I just appreciate good electronic music.

She is God.

Two weeks ago I HATED her, well her music, not her, I didn't really know her.

The universe did several odd things happen. I couldn't escape her, and i realized she is God, it would explain a lot. So I now love her, and her music. I have listened to Bad Romance at least 30 times, Poker Game, Love Game and Paparazzi are also great.

How can't you love a song that says "I want to ride your disco stick"?

Also last night people lined up to get her autograph, so what does she do? She orders pizza for everyone. Now that's nice.

The big question no one seems to be able to answer? Is this girl actually hot or not?:shrug:

She is the new Cher / Madonna it seems do most of her fans might be gay.

Hard to say now because she hardly ever goes out dressed normally, but she looked darn good back in 2005 before she became Lady GaGa:

That's the sort of thing that won me over. Obviously quite talented musically and articulate in interviews. I think she's a keeper.

Yeah, that's pretty awesome. :techman: I think what puts people off is that she basically lives her stage persona out in public, too, and most musicians draw a clear line between who they are on stage and who they are in "real life."

And she deadpans pretty well too.

Jay: "What is the worst rumor that you've read so far?"
Gaga: "That I'm from Yonkers."

I love GAGA. I'm usually caught between my love for hard-core trance and disdain for bubblegum, but Lady Gaga has just such a good sound to it.

Best song so far (and I tend to like all of her stuff) is her newest one: Bad Romance.

I don't know, the biggest question concerning Gaga I've seen around the net is whether it should be Ladyboy Gaga?

She does at least appear to be slightly interesting when she is interviewed, which is more than most young female pop star who could be mistaken for robots. Can't say I think much of her music however, much like herpes that "Paparazzi" song is annoyingly catchy.
