How Many Copies Do You Expect Star Trek Will Sell? (DVD/Blu-ray)

Up sold 5.3 million DVDs and 1.3 million Blu-ray discs last week. (I´ve combined the sales figure from the-numbers.com, which only publish DVD sales, and information from a press release which stated that 24 percent of total sales was for Blu-ray.)

I'm going for over 15 million, because star trek fans have a very high dvd ownership. It may take several years to get their, but it will.

Well they sold 2 to me, one regular, one blue ray.

I guess its 8-9 million by now, hopefully those numbers will be posted today. I would guess that when the next movie comes out that the sales will be about 11-12 Million or thereabouts.

So Trek XI is on course to sell well over 10,000,000 copies.

Star Trek Nemesis, released in 2003 at the height of DVD popularity sold: 1,476,000
