Yeah but there's something about a BMW. To me, it doesn't really matter how fast i get there, it's how i get there. I'd rather get there in luxury. Plus i have a soft spot for BMW.
Ummm ..., love ya like my luggage, Shameless, but I have to ask: have you noticed how often your friend's BMW is in the shop? I ask because, everyone I've ever known who's owned one ends up in the dealership's "courtesy car" at least as often as they're in their own, and -- not kidding -- spending an average of $1000/month on repairs. I love the look of BMWs but, in all seriousness, in the 20 years I've lived in Boston, every single person i know who's owned one has had it in the shop constantly and has spent so much money on repairs that it has turned me off completely.
I haven't had any major problems with mine and I've had it for a couple of years now. The only time I had to take it in for any significant repairs was after I got into a fender bender in downtown Chicago.
