Any fellow 'UFO/ET-ologists' here? :)

As the title says, any fellow people here who seen, observes, and study UFO's, ET's, and other such things?

I ask since it can be somewhat difficult talking such topics, especially in mainstream media, where anything such topic is looked upon as laughable or 'cute', treating it as if it were movie of the week, or spoken with a .

Over the past 15 years, I have seen some interesting stuff. I'll go over some of the more recent ones.

Summer of 2002: One day, I was out in the fields behind my home, and saw a silvery object, shaped like a cube in the far western area of the sky. This object suddenly, as Spock would say, 'winked out' and within not even half a second, this cube 'winked' back in the sky, but it appeared in the far eastern portion of the sky.

And if that's not enough, about 2 nights later, I was in the driveway, playing with one of the cats, and I saw a light moving in the sky...it had no running lights, made no engine noise and as it flew close above the house, it slowly began to fade away into nothing. And there were no clouds in the sky whatsoever.

And just this year alone, I saw 4 UFO's this past summer.

1: around 6:30 in the morning, there was a rather bright light in the sky, it was moving swiftly at right angles and came to complete stops, sitting there for quite sometime and shortly after, some millitary helicoptors were in the sky. as if trying to follow it, but the object would actually vanish without warning, just a wink out. The coptors would hover about, like they were trying to locate the object. About 20 minutes after the coptors gave up and left, the object came back. After awhile, it departed with great speed and was gone.

2: A few weeks later, there was a bright red orb flying over the fields and the hill around here in the west, and later disappeared over the hill. About an hour later, another orb, but much bigger, was flying about the area, in a circular fashion...it seems like it was looking for something...the smaller orb was possibly in trouble, perhaps?

3: Now about 3 weeks ago, there was a bright light, moving in patterns you'd never see one of our vehicles be able to do. It went into a cloud and I went to the backyard, with a very bright, very large flashlight, and saw the cloud was flashing light within the cloud. I held up my flashlight, and started to flash it in various patterns. The lights in the cloud actually repeated the patterns I did on the flashlight, and I did it several more times, and the same results happened. Who/whatever was piloting that object was practically playing a game of Simon with me.

4: This one was just this week. Driving on a country road, I saw a triangle of lights, and these lights all moved, as they were one unit....the lights were in the pattern of an equalateral triangle, and as I said, moved as a single object, as if the lights were at the corner of a triangular shaped vessel. The distence between the lights of this object were pretty good, indicating that this thing, whatever it was, was rather big, akin to the large, triangular ships mentioned in other UFO literature. It turned upward, and shot right up into the sky rather quickly, and was gone. I soooo wish the people driving behind me would have drove by, or at least shut off their smeggin' high beams, I could have gone and taken pictures with my camera.

I also like to study various anomolies in the solar system, such as on Mars, our moon, and Iapitus, etc. I've been doing this stuff since I was a 12 year old kid in 1991, and it's been a passion for me since then.

So, if you've seen such stuff, please post here and let's talk about this stuff without fear of being made fun of and such. :bolian:

saw a light in the distance awhile back at night it looked like a aircrafts lights but it was doing some wierd things it would come towards me then go off at right angles for a moment then do the same thing again never very fast though. then it would suddenly just dissappear. did this for a couple of nights then nothing until two days ago when the same thing happened.

I don't know if this was an E.T. or not but when I was a kid I was at my grandmothers house...I was like 8...me an my cousin were running around outside the house...all the adults were in the front yard where the food was...my cousin ran back up to the frontyard and I was still in the backyard...the house is in the mountains by the way...I looked in the backyard was a giant white rabbit with those oval black eyes and it was standing next to a burning barrel it was bigger than that. I was frozen for a minute as I staired...then I ran to get someone and when we came back it was gone. People tell me I saw a Pookha.

I forgot to mention this , but my mother and I believe she's an abductee. She wakes up with odd marks and bruses on herself that were not there the previous night, and she has this pattern on her forearm.

: : : <-----Looking like pin marks. She had no idea what caused it. Also, she has something behind her ear. It's causing headaches at times, and I read, and saw, occurences of people with such implants, and when the doctors tried to remove them....the implants actually moved, avoiding the doctors' tools. :vulcan:

She also has recurring dreams or images of being in a dark, foggy room, with no visable doors or windows...something abductees mention from time to time.

I think this is such a case, cause sometimes, late at night, I can feel a type of....presence....in the room or the house. If this is legit, I'd rather wish the aliens would simply knock on the window or the door. I would let them in with no problem and even offer them some munchies. :bolian: My mother said she'd offer them some tea and muffins if they are for that.

You know something? Now I feel the day the big news is coming soon....I even think Hollywood's in on it, with a sort of 'time released pill' way of doing it....for example...look at sci-fi prior to the 1960's, it was mostly nasty creatures wanting to kill/enslave us. During and after the 1960's, we see sci-fi where we live, work and even have relationships with aliens. So I think everyone's getting the Joe Sixpacks and Plain Janes ready for the big event, softening them up a bit. Also, I remember Speilsburg during the opening night of ET, back in 1982, and then-president Reagon, who was at one of these primers, leaned over to Spealburg and said, "You know, you're not far from the truth." Why would Reagon tell Speilburg that unless he ment something? :)

Anyhow, the day of full disclosure comes (It shall happen, too many people are beliving in ET life, less trusting of government, and with all the UFO's increasing in the sky, as if whomever's in those UFO's WANTS us to see them. Plus NASA's gonna look like a fool if it keeps following the Brokings protocall. :p), it will deffinately be a great time, since with all this dark, doom and gloom you keep seeing in the world, this can really perk things up quite a bit. I have a bottle of 40+ year old scotch my mother got years ago, and will crack it open once the big day comes.

The Castellan, you're freaking me out. :(

But it's fascinating all the same. I can't resist reading threads like this even if I know it will scare me. I want to believe, as they say... but I wonder if I might lose my mind from shock if/when the big day (as you refer to it) comes. I just hope Vulcans are the first ones we make contact with! I can handle that. :)

I have horrible nightmares about being taken by E.T.'s
One felt so real...I felt numb and burning all over and I floated out my bed and through the wall and outside and I saw a strange looking thing...like ()..() looking alien but more disfigured.

I think you guys are all letting your fantasies override your critical thinking but I can understand you wanting to believe this stuff. It brings excitement and wonder to a mundane world. I wish I believed it myself but I don't. I can't turn my critical thinking off the way Data turns off his emotion chip.

I'd have to say I'm quite the avid UFO/ET geek myself, though I do try to keep up a good dose of skepticism and criticism. I do have my suspicions that something weird is going on, but I also do admit that- as far as I know- there is no conclusive, hard evidence that ETs are visiting Earth and messing with people. I wish there was, but I try not to let my wishes cloud my objectivity.

I've seen my share of UFOs, but I can't say if they indeed were alien spacecraft, or possibly experimental aircraft operated by our own organizations, or mundane objects that I just misidentified. I also feel that government attitudes regarding the topic, especially when it comes to UFO cases that directly involve them, have been sufficiently weird enough to justify a bit of suspicion, but that also doesn't mean some shadow faction of the pentagon is actively dealing with ETs.

I also must say that the sad truth of the matter is that for decades, the topic in general has been dominated by alot of crazies and cooks. Consequently, the field has been flooded with alot of nonsense, psuedoscience, and deeply flawed thinking that hasn't been properly combated by those who are interested in truthful, objective reseach in phenomena that really is rather bizzare. This has gone on for decades which leaves me a bit apprehensive towards the notion that we'll ever see people giving the topic any serious consideration.

Ehh, I doubt you'll be chain smoking for 2 days before trying to hang yourself when the day happens. And like the old saying goes, "The medicine may taste bad, but it's the only way that the patient is going to get better."

From my research, there's at minimum, 57 different species of ET's our governments know of...ranging from the "Grays", the "Nordics" (tall, human like people with avian features...was this the master race Hitler was obsessed with?), "Reptilians", and so on.

Here's how I see, either the aliens we meet are either friendly or hostile...we SHOULD know. I mean we either can start something like the Federation.....trading technology, culture, even giving inter-race relationships a new meaning. If hostile, we can prepare to do what's needed to either defend ourselves or to try and reason with them.

And I think the UFO's we see are both 'ours' and 'theirs', though I feel that 'ours' were probably made by reverse engineering alien tech...that we either salvaged from crashes, or outright stole.

And I look foreward to this, not just to see real life starships reach Earth, not just to meet real flesh and blood (Or whatever it is they are made of) aliens, or to get a sexy alien girlfriend or boyfriend, but to see man actually get that big chance to actually grow up....like what Q was always talking about. We need to stop being the tobacco chewing redneck on his porch, wittling away and who pulls out a shotgun and shouting, "Git off m'property!" each time someone walks nearby.

I think the best approach is like the boy in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," he was not afraid...he actually walked out of the house, willingly, and let the aliens take him for a ride. Both me and my mother have a great gift of being able to tell who/what is hostile 'n nasty and who/what is friendly and benevolent.

Oh, and with odd structures on Mars, Iapitus, Phobos, and our own moon, (As well as all the UFO sightings happening), we're bound to have some visitors shortly, or at least be told about it.

I think, to keep the folks who'll try to kill themselves if it's true, and to get the debunkers'* heads out of their asses, the first announcement will probably be either news of the structures in our solar system, or alien bacteria found.

* It's fine being a skeptic, but debunkers are my problem. Let me show yas.

I show pictures or videos to a debunker and he/she goes, "Wow...another fuzzy, shaky, bad quality video/picture!" So I run into another UFO and get good, high quality videos/images and show 'em to the same person.

Debunker: No way are these real! The quality's way too good! They are fakes!

I could be standing in front of that person, butt-naked with an alien and they'd still not accept it.

Hope that helps a bit, plus getting that bit off my chest.

Well, here's one of my favorite experts on this stuff....he does not study UFO's, cause there are many of them, but he studies the anomolies in the solar system, like the structures and ruins I mentioned. He's Richard C. Hoagland. Here's some of his background.

Former NASA consultant, Winner of the Angstrom Medal Award for his research, Former science advisor to CBS News and Walter Cronkite, co-creator of the "Pioneer Plaque", originator of the "Europa Proposal", that an ocean exists under the covering surface on Europa, Jupiters moon.

Richard has done alot to say the least for staying on the toes of the powers that be in truths of the nature, the finds, the politics of the American space exploration program & helped pave the way for the worldwide alert & awareness of the artificiality on Mars' surface in the Cydonia region shown to us in NASA imagery . A chore in itself that has been & even still is to this day for the requests to space missions around the world to Please share ALL thier data. NASA especially. That is a long story in itself.

Controversy & conspiracy has followed Richard throughout his quests for the truth of the reality of the space exploration program as well as it's data. From the beginnings of the space exploration program in US history, to the Bizzarre policies, & politics, & plausible deniability of it's data, of the present space program, & envisions a new day for the future of the space exploration program. A dedicated American who is well known on talk radio, ufology, science arenna's: independant & mainstream alike, Richard has made his presence known.

So he's not one of those "crazies" and "cooks" that you mentioned. He's a very intelligent dude. This guy not only discusses stuff out of the norm, but has the science to back him. He even predicted or explained stuff NASA has been unable or unwilling to do.

Plus in DS9, I think, there was a Starfleet vessel named USS-Hoagland, which is pretty cool...bet it was named for Richard. :bolian:

You may be right. I know I do not fear being shot by a criminal, dying in a car accident, planes being take over by terrorist...or terrorist in general...I fear EfuckingT's. If anyone thinks we are alone and there are no other lifeforms in the universe with the ability to visit us...great, ok...it's cool. I just know about me. We fear the unknown...I just know I have reasons to feel the way I feel.

I actually fear none of those.

And trust me, fear and panic does nothing....it only kills. IF panic were helpful, by all means, panic till you eventually hang or shoot yourself....but it does not help.

Just do what I do when something sticky happens:

I think, "What would Mr. Spock do?" And I mean the original Spock. I think using some of that mentality when in the face of the unknown is the best policy. Panicmongers are like dinosaurs....they are no longer fit to survive.

Either we live, work and maybe even procrate with aliens, or we end up fighting to the bitter end, I don't care....I just want the answers and truth we have a need to know, and a RIGHT to know. Some of you might like and appreciate secracy and ignorent bliss, but not me. :borg:

Later this week, I'll probably post some neat stuff about Mars, and other places with odd anomolies. To any of you that hate or flunked math....this might not be comfy for you. ;)

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. That's all I'm saying.

Having gotten into this subject a little bit. I do believe some key NASA images over the years have been badly 'shopped to remove things. And with missions going up, then returning with "classified" landing weights, I do think there's something being hidden here. Perhaps even mining of the moon, which the public may have something to say about.

Then there's that British young man, Gary McKinnon, who hacked into top secret milatary databases at the pentagon, and NASA and so on. And they're going after him with all guns blazing. All this for a little Aspergers youth, who I think was still in his teens when he hacked them out of his little bedroom. He claims to have found a list of "non-terrestrial officers" and NASA images pre-photoshop, with all kinds of weird stuff in them. He claims to have seen other things as well but does not want to speak about them whilst his case is still ongoing. It does sound to me like he saw something big which they deperately want to silence. Perhaps a secret space command, more advanced than NASA, and perhaps already busy exploiting the rest of the solar system's natural resources, with no one there to watch or comment.

I read The Fortean Times every month (for about 15 years now), which covers Ufology very well, and despite the fact that I avidly read any article in the magazine, I've never been that much of a believer to truly find that much interest in the subject. I love reading the conspiratorial bunkum though, if only to get a chuckle out of it.

Now, if I were to have an experience, I would change my stance, but until then...

I subscribe to the UFO Updates List and usually check it every day to see what's new. Most of the major UFOlogists post there. I just lurk, except for very rare occasions, such as the Chicago Tribune's coverage of the O'Hare sighting a couple years ago.

I've never seen a UFO or an alien; I just like the stories. I have a CD with 44 hours of recorded calls to the National UFO Reporting center, when Robert Gribble was running it back in the 1960's, 1970's and 1980's. Don't listen to those late at night! Unless you want weird dreams. They are good listening, though.

I have another CD with many hours of recorded radio shows and audio of television shows with some of the notable figures in UFOlogy history, such as J. Allen Hynek and James E. MacDonald. I've read a couple dozen books, including a MacDonald bio.

Looking forward to reading some of the posts above; thanks. I always watch the History Channel series, whatever they've got going on UFO's. Fun watching.

NASA did that with the face of Mars in 2001, they turned it upside down, and filtered it so only the tallest details are shown.

Also, the recent moon images were also altered....they were shown upside down and mirrored.

I'm planning to get the book Dark Mission: The Secret History of NASA, which has a new updated printing this past month, and I can't wait to get my hands on it. :bolian:

I said it once, I'll say it again....NASA has to either get some major ass changes (they cover stuff up and WE'RE PAYING them to) and be more like the rest of the world.....or NASA should step aside and make room for another space agency that has the testicles to actually show stuff. I mean NASA's suppossed to be about space exploration.....why even HAVE a NASA if all they do is cover up stuff and act all innocent....it's a millitary organization...just read the charters. NASA stands for "Never a Straight Answer".

As I said, the day's coming soon when the big news is announced....and I'm going to LOVE seeing NASA try to explain itself for the bullshit it's been doing, going "ummm....uhh.....errr.......uhhhh....:wtf:"

Oh no...

...this again?

CheckMate and all his lackeys are going to be here...and nothing good can come of that. :shifty::lol:

Personally, I don't think the kid did anythingwrong...and the way the millitary and government reacted to the kid tells me the old saying, "Thou protesteth too much," kinda like how Aldrin punched out those people who asked him what was on the moon. I think there's a secret space agency that gets all the top high tech stuff....while we peons are stuck with primative rockets, fossil fuels and Einsteinian and Newtonian physics (which are flawed and hyperdianmensional physics blows 'em both away). Look what NASA wants to use to replace the pices of shit shuttle...the Aeries....which is just a bulked up Apollo...WHAT THE FUCK? :vulcan:

And know what's odd....each of the Apollo astronaughts, when asked about their experiences on the moon....they can't REMEMBER any of it. Armstrong even gave this VERY interesting speech to some kids.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUx1SURbb3g
Protective layers is an interesting thing to say, yes? Plus Armstrong is pretty much a hermit now, only showing up when NASA wants to have him make appearences and get him all dressed up.

Also, Glenn even made an interesting bit on the end credits of Frasier. http://www.enterprisemission.com/glenn.htm

And Aldrin, beside punching out someone who asked him what's on the moon....one of the astronaught's wife (can't remember which one, I'll look it up later), who was one of the staff for the debriefings of the moon missions, can't remember herself. And when these guys try to remember...they brake down like vietnam vets, on the verge of turning into a bowl of mush....SOMETHING happened to these poor guys...and I think NASA better fess up, since it seems NASA's just a bunch of bullies.....Hell....most of the early NASA staff were Nazis to begin with....and I don't mean a bunch of poor guys who got bullied into working for the Nazis....these guys were the hardcore, "Heil Hitler!" Nazis.

I've been listening sporadically to Coast to Coast lately, and I agree with the trend in thought that states aliens and some UFOs are more of a quantum phenomenon than, say, a strictly physical space ship.
I think the crashes have got to be mostly, if not all, government or secret ops projects, simply because it makes no sense that an advanced civilization that can travel galaxies in spaceships would then crash upon reaching Earth. The thought that multiple alien ships have crashed here is beyond ludicrous. If they can get here, they're not going to crash.
