OT: Post Finale The 4400 books

I'm posting this hear since the series was written by four of our regular authors, I hope that's ok.
I just picked up Promises Broken from work today, but I still don't have Welcome to Promise City. So now I was wondering how much of a role the WTPC plays in PB? I'm actually working my way through the show again (I'm only on the 4th episode of the entire show, so I've got a ways to go) so I've got plenty of time pick up WTPC before I read the books, but I just wanted to ask in case I get impatient.

WTPC sets things up for PROMISES BROKEN to a degree, by establishing the status quo in Seattle and moving things along for a few characters. I also deliberately foreshadowed a few things in Dave's book. But I suspect that you can probably read PROMISES BROKEN fairly easily on its own . . . not that I don't want you to track down a copy of my book! :)

I haven't read Promises Broken yet, but I would definitely recommend reading Welcome to Promise City first. It's a great book and does set up quite a bit for WtPC.

Ah cool, thanks. That was what I thought, but I figured I'd just check to be sure.
