I also had a near-miss with T'Bonz years ago. She was very close to my house but we just couldn't make it happen.

At least, that's what she said on the phone.....

That trip was a huge clusterfuck. A brother who was supposed to move the next day had only had 1 1/2 rooms of his house packed the night before, my sister was..well, let's not go there.

Having a meet-up with you would have been infinitely preferable to packing moving boxes all evening and half of the next day, or going up the next day after packing to sort out my sister's mess when I was supposed to be on the road back to Florida.

Sounds good. I'm a bit socially anxious and shy and the like, so I can never promise I'd show up. But I do think it would be a lot of fun to meet people. If there was a meet-up downtown at a time that worked for me, I would definitely try to make it.

I do get up to shenanigans, though. Just a warning.

I met Alidar, FlamingLiberal and Lindley at a Washington D.C. meetup once. Haven't been to any subsequent meetups but not opposed to the idea, either.

I've met quite a few. A couple don't post here anymore. So far, I've met Kass, Shatna, Dama, flamingliberal, coaster, Finn, Lindley, Warp Coil, Squiggy, Dennis, doubleohfive, chrisspringbob...I've probably missed a couple! And I met Nibbles. I miss her.

I've missed out on meeting T'Bonz twice.

Would love to meet Wrongway Janeway, Gaseous Anamoly, Crusher Disciple...a lot more, actually.
