When several of the crew use the communication stones to visit Earth, officials propose a dangerous plan that could return the stranded Destiny crew home.

Oh joy. An entire episode devoted to the communication stones (whose use, up to this point, have been the worst and most boring scenes in the entire show). And a plan we know won't work because it'll flat-out destroy the entire premise of the show. Talk about a winning combination.

Well, it wouldn't be Stargate without a ridiculous plan to save the day. I guess they want to set Universe apart by having the ridiculous plan fail (not that every plan in the stargate universe turned out so great).

Edit: Though, I suppose it could partially work. Most of the Stargate Universe crew are completely useless, so you could always have a bunch of them get back to Earth. You could also have the plan work and have Rush purposely sabotage the whole thing (given that he's still 'the mysterious asshole' on the show).
