Joel, dude, it sounds like you're planning your book as it it were a paint-by-numbers kit. Nobody here can tell you where the colors go. Either you know how to write or you don't. Just do it, and--most importantly--learn from the result.

Joel, what is Tks? Or are you trying to write tsk? Just curious. You've done it a couple of times.
^From context, I think it's a text-speak abbreviation for "Thanks."

Exactly 50 yesterday.
Basically just go with whatever feels right for the story, and the context of the story. If something just doesn't mesh well, or doesn't feel right, you know it's best to drop it, and leave it out.
I find a paraphrasing from Alice in Wonderland to be apt.Cool. I'll remember "tks" from now on -- I hope!
