Tired of being used by my grandmother!

That, we will discussed about that project of mine when I move to California, moreover, will discussing it with my agent to do something about my project that needs to be changing or not. My previous conversation with my former friend went nowhere beside of point fingering and shouting out so nasty about tv/movie industry to take care of my project rather than me to take the complete control of that, we got in big fighting that they're controlling the story line of my project, I told him that I wouldn't allow them to change that story line too much, unless I provide to approve the story to makes sure that they're not ruining the characters that I created. Despite all that fighting, he becomes too stubborn and decides to blocking me for good and never wanting to speaking me again.

Before he blocked me for good, I told him that I'll be executive producer to running the show all the way, but he didn't believe me that I'll be succuess, that's insulting. I'm not going to be greedy on to pressuring them to change the story, but bring the better story to capture people's attention that will likes them very much. Also I told him that I planned on to hiring the right writers to do all this project for me, so I won't have to work too much. In the fact, I'm going to make sure that I don't get wrong writers. I have no problem for JJ Abrams to take over my franchise that I've created so far, nor having no problem for certain people to take over. And he laughs his ass off that I was going to delivering this to Paramount, because I trust them more than other company.

Dude, there are 10, 50, 100 different things I could say about this post... but it'd be a waste of keystrokes.

In short: you are in from serious disappointment, if you think ANYONE is just going to hand over up to 100 million dollars to an unproven writer to act as EP on his own series.

Never. Going. To. Happen.

I'm not going to arguing with you. One thing I agree with you, it'd be a waste of keystrokes, indeed.

It's understandable that she's at this certain age where she can dream of winning the big prize, so she won't have to work too much, but rather to be retire very fast, I warned her that it's all fanasty world that it's not going to happening, but that's very wishful thinking to make that wish.

You must be one hell of a killjoy to live with. What the hell is the harm in letting her enter a competition and dream of winning? Let her have some fun and joy in her life.

Hey, I was warning her of the scam that she must aware. All am I protecting her from being ripping off. Lottery is good way to go to winning that HUGE prize.

Do you want her to respect your choices in your life? Guess what, you have to extend that same respect to her. She's a grown woman, and if she's wants to do it, then she's got the right.

Yeah, I want her to respect the list of choices in my life. It's just that I don't want my grandmother to feel like she's being ripped off. I'm protecting her good credits, but good warning would be good, don't you agree?

And your fantasy is different... how? It's about the same odds, I'd say.

The odds of his grandmother winning that contest are much, much higher. What he thinks is going to happen simply never happens in the business. Even if he somehow gets his script into the hands of a producer who likes it he'll be paid virtually nothing to create the pilot.

Well, one, it's not your place to protect her credit; she's an adult, it's her business. Frankly, you shouldn't be nosing into your grandmother's financial affairs unless you're willing to allow hers into yours.

Warning is one thing, trying to tell her how to live is another.

Huh? What on the earth are you talking about? Please explain to me what you're trying to telling me? And what's the odd that my grandmother winning that would be higher?

I don't want to be here where my grandmother's going to blaming all of this to me for not protecting her enough with good credits, I know that it's not my place to protect her credit. You're right that she's adult.

To be honest with you, she spend too much money..!

The odds of a an unknown writer breaking into TV/Film or publishing are pretty high against it happening. There are fewer and fewer slots opening up each year, and fewer and fewer studios are buying from people that haven't made their bones yet.

Earlier today, my grandmother was in fantasy world and went to asking me to go to Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes' site, my face is boiling mad. The reason why she's asking me to do there, because she was watching Oprah show today, she thought that it's her opportunity to win that BIG prize!

For love of god, I'm tired of being interrupting by her each time I'm trying to accomplish something wonderful in my life.

Earlier tonight, my grandmother asked me that question again, she thought that I didn't want to be part of it, but told her that I'm very tired from cleaning around in the house and wants to watching baseball game, she told me that she doesn't care at all.

I warned her that she's not going to win this prize. Her first reaction was: "Who told you this?" Her annoying question got my blood boiling mad! :scream:

Finally, I fed up and told her that that's enough. She approached me with threatening warning that she's going to calling my estranged mother to coming here to get me. I'm really fed up with her for threatening me all along for being using me to do something for her.

So, you of all people, what should I do to telling her all this? Should I just playing along to make her happy?

All this whine and here I am without any cheese to go with it. :(

Thanks for clearing that up, mate. It's not like I'm running off to live in California to hand my scripts over to them and forcing them to accepting the scripts, but the greater chance my scripts could rejected.

Otherwise, it's my dream to be working with Paramount pictures, there's no harm done to chase that dream to working with them, to be honest with you, I'm fall behind down to be chairman of Paramount, but one day in the future, I could be.

You understand, do you?

Hollywood will eat you alive. There are production companies run by Deaf people. I know one personally from when I was growing up and now is on my FB friend list, living down in LA doing all kind of filming projects. Have you thought about checking out one of those?

No, the internal politics, how people deal with each other and all that. It can be really nasty.

Hollywood will eat me alive? Like having my life being expose to the world?

The difference being that 99.999999999% of people in Hollywood don't give a crap about you and/or your success. Here, only about 90% of the people don't give a crap about you.
The world is harsh friend, get used to it.

Oh, and unless you are paying Gammy a fair weekly or monthly stipened to board and food you then you really don't have any platform to complain about anything that she asks you to do.

Thanks for that warning. I'll be sure to remember that.

My guts is convince me that it's all worth to trying that, but I'm not sure if I want to keep my life as private.
