alexander siddig

Siddig grew on me more than any other actor on the show. It was fun to watch him throughout the series. And the fact that he was hot didn't hurt, either. :p

I really hope that Cairo Time plays somewhere near me. Haven't seen him on the big screen since Syriana (though I did see Doomsday on T.V., ugh).

I've been rewatching DS9 and have gotten midway through the sixth season. I've found that I like Siddig more that I remember in the later seasons. I liked him early on, but remember disliking some of his later storylines (genetic engineering) but find those later episodes weren't anything near as bad as I remembered them to be.

Hoping one of the two indie theaters in a 50 mile radius will pick up Cairo Time.

Geeze I remember watching 'The Passenger' wow, evil Bashir seemed to speak-like-this-when-he-was-tryyying-to-sound-e-vil. Yuck.

But I always loved his character, and his friendship with the O'Brien character.

That annoyed the bejesus out of me. One of the most embarassing moments of poor acting in Star Trek history.

Yes, that's the first episode I thought of when I mentioned how weak he was in the early seasons. It made it clear that he had no idea how to make his voice sound different from his usual Bashir voice (which is, I assume, his natural voice), a thing that I thought actors were supposed to be able do. It was really quite bad.

But everyone keeps saying he gets better (I honestly can't remember), so I have hopes as I work my way into later seasons. And I do remember enjoying some of his interactions with O'Brien, so there's that to look forward to.
