The next IRON CHEF

I am already going cold turkey with out GORDON RAMSEY on with Hell's Kitchen...but I am enjoying this new NEXT AMERICAN IRON CHEF. I don't care for the regular AMERICAN IRON CHEF show, because it pales in comparison with the Japanese original. But I do like this NEXT IRON CHEF and might watch the AMERICAN IRON CHEF if the guy who I want to win (Mullins) actually does win...

But its not as good as HELLS KITCHEN. Not enough yelling!!!

Top Chef is for "foodies," kitchen professionals, anyone who has a real and serious interest in cooking (and I love it).

Gordon Ramsay's programs are sheer, unabashed guilty pleasure entertainment. I love them, too, but for entirely different reasons than I enjoy Top Chef.

I think the only person on Food Network that I don't want to have slain by a wildebeest is Alton Brown. There are special fates in store for Rachael Ray, Bobby Flay, Guy Fieri and Alex Guarnaschelli.
