Any words on Batman 3?

Hoping that you guys can tell me that is there any words on Batman 3 is in the works? Has the scripts been ordered to written in the process? Just wanting to know what's going on, that's all. And is there any words who will playing the characters in Batman 3 as well? From what I heard the rumors that Megan Fox was going to playing this catwoman character. And is it true that the film is set to coming out in 2011?

Nothing since the end of the summer when there was a quote from Gary Oldman saying he thinks production will start sometime next year (much like his quote from Comic Con a few years ago when The Dark Knight was in production). There was a small bit of news on a Batman movie site from a so called insider who claimed he was helping Nolan and Goyer with the story and that there were suggestions regarding a new Batmobile, this has not been confirmed. To answer your question no there has been no significant news regarding Batman 3 or confirmation that it's even going to happen yet. At least as far as I've read.

Flashforward is a TV show, he will have several months off to write a movie, more so after the show is canceled.

I think all we know is that a Batman movie will be made someday.

If Nolan takes too long, Warner will just go with Brett Ratner and they'll fill the movie with dozens of beloved DC comic book characters that will each get two or three lines tops!

Word on the street is WB and Nolan have a "handshake agreement" to do Batman 3 after Nolan finishes Inception, the $200 million dollar science-fiction action film he's currently shooting that's slated to open June 2010. My guess is that Nolan will commence work on another Batman film when and only when Inception is in the can. So don't expect to see serious movement on the film until late 2010 at the earliest. I'm sure it'll go into production sometime starting spring 2011 for a summer 2012 release.

I'm very interested in seeing an adaption of Batman: Dark Victory (yes this means Dick Grayson although this will not happen in the Nolan Verse since he has said Robin isn't even a glint in his parents eye yet) and that means including the Selina Kyle/Catwoman from it as well as played by Rachel Weisz. Hey I can dream.
