They are getting a nice rapport between Eli/Chloe going. Young and Rush play off each other well too.

The relationship between Young and Eli is also a bit weird. Twice now, Young has, in front of an audience - and to that audience - expounded on Eli's "potential/ability/intelligence", then, when the audience is gone and Eli responds to Young's praise, Young gives Eli the slap down.

Just not sure what's going on there ...
