This was brought up by someone months ago, but no harm in posting it again. It's well worth it for those who haven't seen it to check out The Prisoner.
AMC just SKYROCKETED in my respect -- the videos are actually viewable from Canada! Amazing! I'm so used to geolocking (or geofencing) that I expected the usual "you aren't good enough to see these" message. That said, I'm dancing the "I have the DVDs" dance, too so I don't need to check this out, however it would be cool if they included the unbroadcast version of Arrival, which has not been released to DVD over here. What location are you in? I'm in Canada and I've had no problem. (I am expecting the fence to come down, though, once the A&E Blu Rays are released). If you're referring to Hulu, I don't even acknowledge that site exists. Not until they (and the people they get content from) realize the WWW includes the word "world". Alex
I wouldn't be expecting that one anytime soon; The Prisoner would have to be very popular for A&E Home Video to make the investment needed for it to be on Blu-Ray. About the only '60's show seen in that format is Star Trek.
The Prisoner is already out on blu-ray http://www.amazon.co.uk/Prisoner-Co...ef=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1255769640&sr=8-2
Does anyone else still see the title of this thread and blend the words together? "Set The Prisoner free!"
I've been watching The Prisoner on AMC Video On Demand for awhile now (convinced me to order Number Six and Number Two badges from Portmeirion). In addition to the classic episodes, they've also posted a thirty-minute Q&A session from this year's Comic-Con with the cast and writer of the upcoming remake...
